They are just as bad for a sewer system. They don’t break down like regular human waste and will cause a problem at the sewage plant. And will contribute to those expensive to clear grease+other junk blobs in the pipes that cost cities a fortune to clear out.
It doesn’t matter if it’s a septic system or a sewer system, the advice given above about keeping it to the substances they are designed for is a must.
