Coolest dude in movies

OK, I acknowledge Cagney’s less-than-coolness.

Proceed.

Man, Randolph Scott is da bomb! Did you see him in Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm?

Chazz Palminteri has always struck me as cool.

Actually, yes I did. Did you see him in Decision at Sundown?

You lost all credibility on this topic when you left Eastwood off your list.

I have to say Eastwood, Garner and Bruce Willis, just because of “The Fifth Element.”

I’d add Harry Dean Stanton to the list.

No, no, no. Samuel Jackson as Frozone in The Incredibles, on so many levels.

Think about it.

I gotta say that Paul Newman tops any list, he was cool without trying.

Warren Oates!!! I love him to death! Thanks so much for putting’ him on the Coolest Dude (HOT!) List

What, no De Niro?

Other semi-cool actors not mentioned
Christopher Walken
Morgan Freeman

Sterling Hayden.

There is no “Tao of Randolph”, no “Tao of Charles”, no “Tao of Humphrey”. There is only a “Tao of Steve.” 'Nuff said.

Well there is a Tao of Pooh but I don’t think he’s very cool at all.
lissener, I think you’ll notice a lot of support for Clint. Between his Westerns and his Cops he really should be top 10.

Newman. He was cool and had class. A deadly combination.

Zactly.

Jeff Bridges is The Dude. I don’t see how anyone else can even compete. :stuck_out_tongue:

Frankly, when I saw the thread title, I thought “Robert Mitchum should be #1," but on seeing your list, I can’t grouse about Belmondo topping the list (I was only thinking of American actors).

Actually, the only modification I’d make is swapping Warren Oates and Randolph Scott. I’d put Oates at 5 and Scott and 6.

Nice list!

John Cusack belongs on that list. Somewhere near the top.

Kurt Russell
Chow Yun Fat

No John Cassavetes? The list is flawed.
