If I were you, I would think long and hard about having a tattoo I would have to translate and explain to everyone who sees it and ask about it. That sounds regrettable to me. I find it bad enough to have one that can be partially seen behind a t-shirt sleeve that I constantly need to raise the sleeve to allow people to ooh and aah over it - and I love showing it off - but to have to explain it to people would put me over the edge.
