Banks issue Visa cards, and merchants decide when to automatically charge your Visa card. Your dispute was either with the merchant or with B of A.
I’m in the industry, too. Go figure. By the way you talk, I bet you don’t work for Visa.
It wasn’t the $39 that really got 'em, Sandy , it was all of the calls you made. I don’t know what the unit price is on cardholder service calls, but if it is anything like how much my company pays, then trust me, you got more than your forty bucks worth.

I was pretty sure that was going to be true when I started. Which just made it all the more satisfying.
