Middle Age?

holyshitwhatthefuckdoIdowithmylife age

I figure it’s about 45-59.

I’m 68. So middle age is about 40 to 68. In a few months it’ll be 40 to 69.

Old age is over the hill, literally and figuratively.

I’d call it 50-70.

Chris expected to live to the age of 40-something. Holling had ancestors survive well past 100. In one ep, they both were described as having a midlife crisis. Made sense to Fleischman.

I’m beginning to doubt the value of a poll!

I would say 35-40 to 60-65. I hate when people try to tell me that I am young. I am 41. I have no intention of jumping straight from young to old. I think the middle is the best part.

I say it’s 40-60.

I honestly felt like I’d finally hit middle aged around 42 - 43. As far as the top end? I guess around 65, but I doubt I’d know until I get there. :stuck_out_tongue:

Aug 24 is my birthday, and I turn 36 this year. I’m not quite middle aged yet, right fellas, right?!?

I’d consider anyone born between 1950 and 1989 middle aged.

I like your answer. A rough age guideline, but better explained by examples, like you did. I’m with monstro.

1989? You consider a 25 year old middle aged?

Through Post #33 these are the specific ranges mentioned thus far:

35-60
45 to 60.
40 to 50
40 to 60.
30-60
37-
40 until you retire.
35 to about 60
40 -
late 40s -
45-59.
40 to 68.
50-70
35-40 to 60-65.
40-60
42 - 43. top end? around 65
anyone born between 1950 and 1989 middle aged.

so now you just need to calculate the mean and you have middle age

Middle age is 45 to me. Not a range, that specific birthday.

Nice plan.

I’d agree with 40-50. At 40 I shacked up with a 26-year-old. At 45 I divorced my wife of 23 years and married somebody else. At 50, we uprooted our life, changed locations and jobs. All mid-life type activities, although I didn’t (and don’t) see any of it as a mid-life “crisis”.

45-65

I only bought a hot car.:smack:
