What will happen with the solar storms of 2012-2014

So apparently there was a solar storm in 2012 that would’ve done trillions of dollars in economic damage to the US, but it missed us.

I do wonder if we just shut down the power grid before the storm hit, if that would negate most of the damage. Its my understanding that the plasma takes a few days to get here.

The Great Solar Storm of '14 was so powerful that it ripped the fabric of space-time and threw the entire planet down a wormhole.

We ended up in the year 2019.
