I have a few yucky looking red veins in the whites of my eyes. You the kind, like when your eyes are blood-shot. Is there any way to get rid of them, maybe zap'em with a laser?

Everyone has some of those. I don't know if it's desireable or even possible to get rid of them all completely.

If you have marks in the whites of your eyes due to a burst blood vessel (can happen while crying, laughing to hard, etc.), there is a procedure to remove them. See plastic surgeon. However, I think somebody told me you have to go under general anthesia, and why take the minor risk of death while under the gas for cosmetics?

You can get eyedrops that will clear up bloodshot eyes, but they're only temporary.
