I need to come up with a list of songs, mainly old ones, that have any section that features the word "easy" for a radio spot. Either the title, or anywhere in the song where it describes a thing or action being easy to do. Nothing off-color or even remotely offensive to anyone is the key. No current music, either, it's for an older audience.

Off the top of my head, I've got:

Linda Ronstadt - It's So Easy
Commodores - Easy
Eagles - Take It Easy
Len Barry - 1-2-3 ("it's so easy, like taking candy from a baby...")
Bobby Sherman - Easy Come, Easy Go
Uriah Heep - Easy Livin'

Anyone have more suggestions? Thanks!

Linda Ronstadt - It's So Easy
Just wanted to tell you the original version of this song is by it's writer, Buddy Holly.

I knew that. We won't be using his version, though.

"Easy" -- Timbuk 3. A good song.

"Don't Worry About the Government" -- Talking Heads
"My building has every convenience/It's gonna make life easy for me/It's gonna be easy to get things done/I will relax, along with my loved ones..."

Probably too adult for you to use, but there's The Beatles' "Everybody's Got Something To Hide Except for Me and My Monkey" ("Take it easy, take it easy/Everybody's got something to hide...")

Easy mixup (heh). That one's in the OP (Richie is on vocals for the Commodores on that track).

Everybody's Got Something To Hide Except For Me And My Monkey, the Beatles

"Nothing you can make that can't be made.
No one you can save that can't be saved.
Nothing you can do but you can learn how to be you in time.
It's easy.

All you need is love.

All you need is love, love.
Love is all you need."

"Coke Babies" by Radiohead (1992 maybe?).... probably not what you're looking for, but certainly contains the "Easy" requirement:

Easy living, easy hold
Easy TV, easy fold
Easy listening, easy love
Easy answers to easy questions
Easy tumble, easy doll
Easy rumble, easy fall
I get off on easy love
I get off on easy questions

"Easy Lover" - Phil Collins and some other guy

For the record, that other guy is Philip Bailey. And all I know of his musical career is that he sang that song with Phil Collins.

What they want is a radio ad that's patterned after the '70s break-in record, "Mr. Jaws" by Dickie Goodman. I haven't seen the copy yet, but it'll be an announcer sounding as though he's asking people questions about the product or service, and the reply will be a short clip of the song saying "(it's...) easy..." and then cut to the next one. I need to be able to edit that part of the song out without it sounding really strange. Most of your suggestions will work, so thanks again for the help.

Easy Money--Lowell George (Rickie Lee Jones wrote it)
"The easier it looks, the harder it hooks.
There ain't no such thing as easy money."

In Who Do You Love, done by countless musicians, it's not about low effort.
"Easy, Eileen, don't give me no lip."
