Inspired by the multitude of "Things I've learned" threads, I thought that I'd start another. Things we've learned by watching movies based off of the life stories of real people.

1) At some point, when you're a child, your brother will either die in front of you (Ray (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0350258/)), or as a result of something that you did or didn't do (Walk the Line (http://imdb.com/title/tt0358273/)).

2) Drugs will play a hige role in you becoming you Walk the Line (http://imdb.com/title/tt0358273/), Ray (http://imdb.com/title/tt0350258/)).

3) Your family is never quite who they say they are (Beyond the Sea (http://imdb.com/title/tt0363473/)).

4) Never, ever make Ike Turner mad.

What else?

You can become much shorter, slimmer and loose your acne scars if Lou Diamond Philips plays you.

In the spirit of the OP: You will have prophetic visions of your death. "La Bamba"
