The interviewees apparently have some sort of military connection, as he is asking them about marching. OK, just kidding

I'm drawing a blank on the news man, but I'm pretty sure the interviewee on the right is a guy named Martin Luther King. I don't think the "march" in question is military ...

The interview was just before (and about) the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/March_on_Washington_for_Jobs_and_Freedom), seated next to MLK is Roy Wilkins (of the NAACP) (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roy_Wilkins), and the journalist in question is Frank van der Linden of the Nashville Banner (here's the YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J01Np4FZtAw&feature=related) link to the whole? interview).
