View Full Version : Searching for a game

A game by the name of "Offshore Drilling", popular in the late 70's or early 80s. A friend wants to surprise her husband with it for Christmas, but she can't find it--- and googling it is absolutely useless.

Did you hear of it, and if so, where can it be found?

Here you go (http://www.boardgamegeek.com/game/5435).

If you want a game that's fun to play about oil companies I'd go with McMulti (http://www.boardgamegeek.com/game/147) but it is long out of print and very sought after.

If you want something about oil drilling that's a bit more easy to find and has some of the wildest board game components ever made there's also King Oil (http://www.boardgamegeek.com/game/2608).

Wildcatter (http://www.boardgamegeek.com/game/2469) is another one that might interest you.

Yeah, sorry for taking so long to get that answer for you. I missed your post on the first pass.

Wow, Peter Morris, thanks.

Just Some Guy, I had to laugh when I read that you apologized for taking so long. I didn't expect answers so soon.
