Restaurants/bars/clubs on TV shows

Earlier today for some reason the bar name "Thirsty's" crossed my mind, but I couldn't remember what show it was from (I googled--it was George Lopez.) So then I started thinking of other resturants/bars/clubs mentioned a few times on TV shows (but not necessarily central to the series like Cheers and Central Perk.) A few stuck in my memory:

Mason's Dixieline Bar -- In the Heat of the Night
The Bigger Jigger -- Mama's Family
Sugarfoot's -- King of the Hill
Angelino's -- Three's Company

I could list a few more, but let's see what this kicks off.

Three's Company: The Regal Beagle
The Sopranos: Vesuvio's
Nurse Jackie: The Red Owl

Family Guy: The Drunken Clam; The Bearded Clam

Moe's Tavern
The Black Box
Sh_tkickers

They also had The Regal Beagle. Which in the original UK show Man About The House was, I think, The Lucky Duck.

BobBitchin' 07-23-2019 04:10 AM

King of the Hill had a bar called The Point After.

cochrane 07-23-2019 05:37 AM

Kelcy's Bar, later turned into Archie Bunker's Place.

Mean Mr. Mustard 07-23-2019 06:03 AM

Phil's from Murphy Brown

The Waterfront Bar in Homicide: Life on the Street.

Smid 07-23-2019 07:16 AM

MacLaren's from How I met your mother.
Puzzles? from How I met your mother (not really a bar, a bar they were drunkenly planning to open).

ftg 07-23-2019 07:35 AM

Doug's Place, Days of our Lives. It does remarkably well for a nicer place with very few patrons.

(Whatever you do, don't try singing The Ballad of Davy Crockett there on karaoke night. Just sayin'.)

I don't know if the Officer's club or the mess hall would count.

Y'know, there's a bar in that bowling alley. Did we ever learn the name of the place?

Jitters coffee shop on The Flash
Patsy's Pies on Shameless

The Ruby on Corner Gas. There's also the Dog River Hotel and Bar.

Dewey Finn 07-23-2019 10:09 AM

Cafe Nervosa from Frasier. And there was a fancy restaurant they went to a couple of times, but I can't remember the name.

terentii 07-23-2019 10:12 AM

The North Fork Saloon on The Rifleman. Was this also part of the Mallory House hotel?

zamboniracer 07-23-2019 10:19 AM

Buffy the Vampire Slayer had "The Bronze", and its spinoff Angel had "Caritas".

The Rockford Files had an unnamed taco stand by the pier where Jim frequently ate tacos for breakfast.

Los Pollos Hermanos on Breaking Bad.

The original Magnum P.I. had "The King Kamehameha Club". I don't know about the reboot show as I've yet to ever see it and I don't want to look it up.

The rebooted Hawaii 5-0's people frequently eat at Kamekona's shrimp food truck.

Shoeless 07-23-2019 10:58 AM

"Club Chubby" from My Name Is Earl.

I think S1 of The Guest Book also had a strip club named Chubby's?

Greg Garcia must have a thing for chubbies.

The Friends all hung out at Central Perk
Speaking of which, Phoebe's twin, Ursula, worked at Riff's, a place frequented by Paul and Jamie on Mad About You
Laverne and Shirley - The Pizza Bowl

terentii 07-23-2019 01:31 PM

The Cheesecake Factory on Big Bang Theory.

There was also the Chinese restaurant owned and/or managed by the same guy who was at the Chinese restaurant in Seinfeld (James Hong).

Alas, it doesn't like like the Soup Nazi's place was ever specifically named. :p

The crossroads inn on Game of Thrones.

The Gaslight Cafe is where Midge gets her start as a comic at an open mic night in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.

peccavi 07-23-2019 02:20 PM

Parks and Recreation had JJ's Diner and The Snakehole Lounge (a great name for a dive bar) as well as several others.

But the champion for restaurant names has to be The Good Place, which may number in the hundred's by now. Some of my favorites:

Ponzu Scheme
Sushi and the Banshees
Knish from a Rose
