That was my first experience back in 1977, when friends introduced me to it.

When I was in London in December 1994, I stopped in a pizzeria next to Leicester Square, I think it was. I was amazed at some of the toppings they had. I tried a slice of corn and tuna pizza; must say, it didn't do much for me.

The pizza I once had in Venice (Italy) on the other hand, was sublime. Baked in a real wood-fired brick oven with Roquefort cheese and Parma ham. Yum-O!
