For the rest of my father's life - even long after he and Mom divorced - he'd ask my brother on his birthday "why couldn't you have been born two hours earlier?"

One year, my brother replied "how come you didn't have sex with Mom two hours earlier?"

Without missing a beat, he replied "I wasn't drunk enough yet"
Superdude, yes, I was "daddy's little tax deduction" But he still would have been happy if I'd been born later. For a first baby I came fast, my folks had sat down to supper when Mom realized she needed to go to the nospital. And I was born at 10:16 PM, so labor was barely five hours. My due date had been Christmas Day.
