If anyone should believe in free will, itís atheists. The opposite of free will, as originally conceived, specifically requires us to be constrained in our behavior by a creator.

And in reality, we should know by now that it is not a simple dichotomy anyway. There are degrees and grades of freedom, depending on the complexity of the particular system and itís relationship to the environment and other systems.

It also seems like the whole free will debates that are typically made are often mislabeled attempts to really argue about the nature of consciousness rather choice.
