I was tricky to buy for when I was young.
I was in my own little world of chess, books (mainly sci-fi and detective stories.)
One elderly relative bought me a book on 'how to learn chess'. I know she meant well, but I was playing in the British Chess Championship at the time.
Bless her heart. Would such an item served well as a “how to teach someone else to play chess”?
