This answer would be a lot easier for college football, but I'll go with the Titans routing the Rams in a preseason game in 2000 as revenge for Super Bowl XXXIV.

1) I actually know someone who shares that player's first and last name. He also has a signed jersey of that player.

2) I don't think I've ever seen that specific game identified in that way before -- but based on your location, I can guess why.
