Six Hits and a Miss, founded as "Three Hits and a Miss" in 1936. Not sure how much chart action they got, but they were in a lot of movies including Topper. Andy Williams was part of their line-up at one point, and they worked for Frank Sinatra at another. Their backing vocals can be heard on Bing Crosby's "Atchisa, Topeka and the Santa Fe." Their popularity peaked during the War.
