I guess Trump hopes Rudy is a better lawyer than he was a presidential candidate in 2008. He was so bad that year he made McGovern look like FDR

Now should we investigate how Hillary Clinton spent 25 million from Iran and Saudi Arabia, and find out her quid quo pro with Russia paying her husband 1/2 million dollars for a speech too? I say pass, but if the left keeps beating these drums, why not.
The "allegations" didn't come from a prosecutor; they came from a professional intelligence officer trained to assess sources. See the difference?

It's so very kind of you to pass on investigating Hillary again. Did you also want to pass on the 37th Benghazi hearing, generously saying that 36 hearings were already enough? When the Starr Investigation had already spent $50 million but wanted more because "maybe there was a blowjob somewhere" did you say "enough is enough"?

I am a bigot. It saves time to "know" in advance who to listen to. John Oliver and Sean Hannity are both entertainers but I "know" which of the two to listen to. There's too many Dopers to keep track of them all, but sometimes I click "View posts by":

They are buying out our politicians! Clinton herself took millions from Iran and others. The quid pro quo list here is longer than Trump's by a country mile.
Got it.

Teachable Moment:
Real journalists are trained to use "allegedly" all through the process, until there is a conviction. It saves their publishers on libel lawsuits. Conviction is seen as sufficient proof.

In early 2008, I was coming home from a business trip to DC, and was in Reagan National Airport. Rudy had just dropped out of the race, and a gift shop in the airport had "Rudy for President" t-shirts on sale for $2. I bought one for humor value, and it made for a good "mowing the lawn" shirt for a couple of years.

A potted plant probably would have done better than McGovern did vs. Nixon in 72
