Hell, furlough ICE as well and you've got to have quite a chunk of 5 billion!

Do we know that Putin is texting Trump?

Because these two articles are fairly damning.

"Trump met Putin without staff or note takers present — again"
Recent article about November meeting.

And this more current espionage,
Pro-Russian Twitter account used non-public material from Mueller's team in effort to discredit Russia probe

So not only "NO COLLUSION!" but CURRENT COLLUSION!

Quote:
“Stand easy, men-this is just an informal visit by the Old Man.” “Captain Zekial coming herel” “I've never seen the Old Man…” The troopers chippered like birds and were as nervous as virgins at a defloration ceremony. Three more officers came through the door and finally a male nurse leading a ten-year-old moron wearing a bib and a captain's uniform.

“Uhh… hi ya fellows… “ the captain said.

“The captain wishes to pay his respects to you all,” the first lieutenant said crisply.

“Is dat da guy in da bed…?” “And particularly wishes to pay his personal respects to the hero of the hour.” “.. . Dere was sometin' else but I forgot…” “And he furthermore wishes to inform the valiant fighter who saved our ship that he is being raised in grade to Fuse Tender First Class, which increase in rank includes an automatic re-enlistment for seven years to be added to his original enlistment, and that upon dismissal from the hospital he is to go by first available transportation to the Imperial Planet of Helior, there to receive the hero's award of the Purple Dart with Coalsack Nebula Cluster from the Emperor's own hand.” “.. . I think I gotta go to da bathroom…” “But now the exigencies of command recall him to the bridge, and he wishes you all an affectionate farewell.” Bill saluted with both arms, and the troopers stood at attention until the captain and his officers had gone, then the doctor dismissed the troopers as well.

“Isn't the Old Man a little young for his post?” Bill asked. “Not as young as some,” the doctor scratched through his hypodermic needles looking for a particularly dull one for an injection. “You have to remember that all captains have to be of the nobility and even a large nobility gets stretched damn thin over a galactic empire. We take what we can get.” He found a crooked needle and clipped it to the cylinder.

“Affirm, so he's young, but isn't he also a little stupid for the job?” “Watch that lese-majesty stuff, bowb! You get an empire that's a couple of thousand years old, and you get a: nobility that keeps inbreeding, and you get some of the crunched genes and defective recessives coming out and you got a group of people that-are a little more exotic than most nut houses. There's nothing wrong with the Old Man that a new I. Q. wouldn't cure! You should have seen the captain of the last ship I was on…” he shuddered and jabbed the needle viciously into Bill's flesh. Bill screamed, then gloomily watched the blood drip from the hole after the hypodermic had been withdrawn.

Twerp-in-chief gives us this nonsense: "accomplished the military". WTF? The only things he's accomplished relating to the military are lie and dodge.

No need to rush back to DC anytime soon, Mr. Trump; you're welcome to stay in Mar-a-Lago long as you like, certainly past Feb. 16.

I have to admit to mixed emotions: we're paying him a lot and he's not working that hard, but if he were, he'd be doing even more terrible things: https://www.cnn.com/2019/02/03/polit...les/index.html

A few months ago on this very site there was a push poll from the Trump campaign asking, "Do you think Hillary should be in jail?" with the answers something like, Yes, Maybe, No; she should be executed. I answered Maybe as being the least offensive and then on the required registration (to 'validate' the answer) created and put in the email address of suckmydickdonnie@[my domain].com. For some reason, despite begging for money on the poll's site -- which I declined -- they haven't sent any requests to that addy. Now I feel slighted.

Think they'll scroll the names at Donnie's reading speed?

It is telling that, in a speech represented as a call to unity, that trump couldn't pass on the partisan jabs. "Democrat agenda"? It's DEMOCRATIC, moe-ron.

Wait..."democrat agenda?"

Does that mean that Trump and doorhinge are the same person?

Trump, so far, has declined to say anything about the attack on a BBC cameraman by a Trump-rallygoer, at last night's El Paso event:

Quote:
A photojournalist for the BBC was attacked Monday while covering President Donald Trump's rally in El Paso, Texas.

A rallygoer gained access to an area designated for the news media and began shoving people, according to video of the incident.
https://www.cnn.com/2019/02/12/media...cli/index.html

Sarah Sanders offered a perfunctory "President Trump condemns all acts of violence" this afternoon.

But Donald himself isn't about to offend his fans by telling them they shouldn't attack journalists.

Well, he's definitely not going to complain about an attack on a foreign journalist. (Wait a moment. Does the twerp even consider Brits to be foreign?)

Right. If it was an American journalist, he would have applauded it and said he would pay the attackers legal fees.

I've seen elsewhere on the Web, comments from Trumpeters on this incident. Oddly enough, none of them have remarked on the "government-run socialist outfit."

Rather, their comments boil down to this: "The incident never happened, so it's fake news; and if it did happen, which we have no proof of, then the cameraman provoked the guy who attacked him." Then they go back to comparing crowd sizes at Trump's and Beto's rallies.

Trump is on TV right now declaring his National Emergency, and telling the country that all of the drugs are not coming in thru the points of entry, there's no way they could be coming thru the point of entry, they are being smuggled on people's backs across the desert. Isn't it obvious?

Worth a chuckle, but of course there could be tape of Trump saying "...and if I ever become president and do something like that, you should definitely impeach me!" and it wouldn't make a fucking bit of difference because a third of the country nibbled on a dank orange toadstool and went completely insane.

I'm imagining a camera fly through of the White House, grey-faced minions scurry, a chef weeps over well-done steak and ketchup, aides sit at a small table surrounded by crayons, glitter, and glue as they prepare an intelligence briefing... and the president lounges in a bathrobe devouring chicken wings and Fox and Friends, tweeting thumbs a flurry. Backing this scene Flogging Molly plays "It's been the worst day since yesterday".

As a bonus, he apparently introduced Graham, who got applause. Then, even though she was in his speech/notes, he snubbed Pelosi (who was also there).

Probably afraid she'd get a standing ovation.

Related to the lack of applause in Munich, Lawrence O'Donnell just showed the official White House transcript of Pence's speech on his show.

Can you guess?

The transcript inserted the comment "(Applause)" after Pence mentioned Trump's greeting.

In the transcript of my life for tomorrow, after "Got out of bed," I'm going to insert, "Won the Powerball, the Nobel Prize and a long, lingering kiss from Keira Knightley." It'll be just as real, and just as accurate.
