Need help removing drawers from dresser

Need help removing drawers from dresser. I've tried everything I can think of. The glides are bottom mount. There is no release mechanism that I can find. There are no stops on the sides. Taking off the dresser back doesn't seem it will allow access. And I can only reach the drawer glide screws on the front - so that won't help. The name on the glide seems to be"Lidisi" or "Clidisi".

I'm going crazy. Any ideas?

B. There seems to be a black piece of plastic at the end of one rail. Perhaps lifting that out frees things. But more likely:

A. The oval next to it might allow access to a spring button that unlatches it.

On my similar glides (other brand), there's a little pointy bit made of black plastic, that you need to deflect to the side. I think I can see it in the left 25% of your second picture, but it's hard to see because it's black on chrome.

Here's a PDF document for Accuride glides. On the last illustration on the last page, you can see the pointy bit labeled as "Disconnect lever". That's what I was talking about above.

Did you fold your drawers before putting them away? They are easier to pickup and remove afterwards.

You'll probably have to remove the Phillips head mounting screws.

Cheap drawer glides aren't always designed to separate. It varies from brand to brand.

Thank you, thank you. That worked. I had actually seen that black thing earlier and tried it but I was afraid to pull on the drawer too hard. I felt more confident seeing the pdf you linked to.

Anyway, thanks again.

Glad it worked. Was this to retrieve a sock that had fallen behind its assigned drawer, or your uncle's long-hidden B&O Railway stock certificates?

The REAL Mona Lisa. That and Nazi gold.

Seriously though, I’m moving and this dresser is massive (solid wood) and weighs a lot. With the drawers out it will still weigh a lot but it will be better.

I wouldn’t bother for a sock.
