That's a good question. As usual, the hoplophobe media totally ignores the precious, precious gun.

There was a “Families Belong Together” protest event in Huntsville BFE. There were counter-protesters (“Split Families Up with Impunity”?). There was a ferkuffle – and what fun could that be without a gun making an appearance. I mean, it was in BFE after all.

I'm waiting for the situation where person A accidentally fires their gun, and person B, thinking they're under fire, shoots back.

Hey, c'mon - the guy pushed him back! I mean, if that isn't a reason to draw your weapon, I don't know what is. He should be commended for not firing, not taken into custody for god's sake.

Reminds me of my oldest, who came home from school one day (probably first grade) and explained to me that "it's OK to hit someone if they hit you back".

She should be commended. She had a round in her chamber, unlike some of these libtards. And even had the safety off, saving a crucial second had she needed to defend the country's borders while in WalMart. Sustaining minor injury while serving in our well-regulated militia, does she get a Purple Heart?

At one of the smaller eventsyesterday, a pro-Trump guy showed up, chanted "womp womp" and brandished a gun. This was a group of about 100 people praying peacefully until the member of the well regulated militia showed up.

In Portland there was a kerfuffle outside a bar. A man tries to break it up, but while doing so his legal-carry gun falls out of its holster. The campus police arrive just as he bends down to pick it up. Since he was black there was probable cause to shoot and kill him. https://www.oregonlive.com/portland/...oot_perso.html

Just too much stupid to go around.

Well they haven't released the identity of the vicitim yet so we don't know whether the response from the NRA will be (white) "A flagrant assault by the state on the second ammendment rights of a fine citizen" or (black) "a justified use of his service weapon to protect the public from an armed thug."

So now we know what happens when only good guys have guns

But what it is with those modern holsters. This is at least the fourth case in a short time when somebody has dropped a gun that was in a holster ( the dancing cop, IKEA, a woman in WalMart, and now this - and 50% of them went off, although it's physically not possible ).

Props to the demonstrators who confronted him, then chased him when he retreated, yelling "Gun!" and pointing him out to the police, despite the danger he'd turn and shoot them.

A 92-year old lady doesn't want to be put in an assisted living facility, so she takes up necessary measures to prove that she's not that helpless...
Charges include first-degree murder, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and kidnapping.

Sounds like she'll end up in quite a different assisted-living facility.

On the bright side, a 92 year old murderess will likely recieve better care in prison than should would have in an old age home. (From what I've heard; having never spent time in either, believe it or not)

That's my retirement plan. Once I hit that age, I'm sticking up a bank. I'll either get enough money to live well or be taken care of courtesy of the government.

Taking guns away from a citizen is an infringement on 2nd Amendment rights. It's right in the Amendment - "...shall not be infringed"!

Well, as luck would have it, I prefer judges to read the Constitution literally when it comes to abortion or gay rights, but to ignore parts of it when it comes to guns. So it works out well for me!

So ... that's a Defensive Gun Use with 1 death, right? Something we should read about in the Gun Cowards' Safe Space thread? It's confusing sometimes.

What does responsible gun ownership look like?

This must be it.

This shooting was an accident — that's the price we happily pay for freedom.

News articles don't tell us what kind of gun it was. But, despite the accident, we should be pleased that this gun owner knew enough to keep the gun loaded and with a round in the chamber (or otherwise in the firing position). It was just weeks ago that a libtard gun hater made a fool of himself at this message-board by suggesting that the gun chamber should ever be emptied.

Had the toddler been called upon to protect the border and Make America Great Again while his mom and dad were away ... he was ready. Kudos!

Obviously it was a small handgun. If only it would've been one of those vilified assault rifles this would've not happened.
So the blame is solely on those damned gun grabbers.

What if they threw a rally and no one came?

Quote:
Student-led rallies around the country on Saturday aimed to show support for gun rights, though their effort drew smaller-than-expected crowds in a bid to counter the well-funded and organized youth gun-control lobby that emerged after the massacre in a Florida high school earlier this year.

<snip>

In Chicago, organizers planned for about 125 people, but the rally drew approximately 35. The group gathered in a corner of Millennium Park, not the great lawn, because organizers did not secure a permit and park security forced them to leave.

<snip>

In Palm Beach, Fla., about 100 people were expected to rally at a park; 13 came, including organizer Ashley Johnson, three speakers and the parents of two of the speakers.
https://www.stltoday.com/news/nation...ome-the-latest

Maybe all the people who would have gone to these rallies are saving up their rallyin' energy for the next neo Nazi march in Charlottesville.

And, this is older news, but for the first time since at least 2000, the NRA's approval rating among Americans is under water.

That webpage links to another story that refutes the liberal claims of excessive killing of innocent blacks. For every story of an innocent black being killed, I'll bet there's ten stories about an innocent black NOT being killed, but the liberal media hides these counterexamples. Here's one such story, probably buried inside the newspaper:

A woman in Maple Heights, Ohio, observed a 12-year old black boy mowing the neighbor's lawn and didn't even shoot him! Instead she called 911 to let the police assess the threat. (Or was she just too cowardly to confront the thug herself?)

Hooray for free speech: making 3D models of gun components available online is covered by the free speech rights granted by the First Amendment.

Does this mean that ex-cons and like can't anymore own 3-D printers ?

Gun morons can't even follow the basic rules of gun safety, and they thank that they are going to be printing guns?

Get ready for this thread to fill up with "...injured when his 3-d printed gun failed and blew up in his face." headlines

Grandfather arrested after California boy shoots cousin, 2
Quote:
A 4-year-old boy accidentally shot and killed his 2-year-old cousin Friday at a home in Southern California and deputies arrested the victim’s grandfather for allegedly leaving the gun where the kids could find it, authorities said.

The girl died at a hospital shortly after the mid-morning shooting in the Muscoy area, east of Los Angeles, according to San Bernardino County sheriff’s spokeswoman Cindy Bachman.

Cesar Lopez, 53, was taken into custody later in the day on suspicion of child endangerment and being a felon in possession of a firearm, the department said. It wasn’t immediately known if he has an attorney.

The laws in states like Florid allow CCW permit holders (usually white males) to go play cop, initiate a heated confrontation to the point where people feel like coming to blows, and then pull out a gun and claim self defense. The gunman knew he was escalating the situation. He knew there was a pretty good chance he was going to get into a fight with someone, and he assumed that whenever he did, he could legally kill them. And it seems he assumed correctly. Shades of George Zimmerman.

Sounds legit to me. The definition of a "good guy with a gun" is the guy that is still standing when the shooting stops.
