Wrong forum. You don't owe much, it sounds like the problem is you don't have the right skillset for a high paying job?

Any other factors bringing you down? Health problems, not getting any, overworked or unemployed?

Unemployment and personal insults from next-street girl, used to work at some logistics warehouse, due to the overwhelming of the work loads, quit the job and been staying home ever since, applied some in indeed but its all just in a glimpse of an eye

Welcome to the SDMB, wvince.

The general questions forum is for questions with factual answers. I think you need more advice and opinion type answers, so let's move this to our opinion forum, IMHO.

Depression can be difficult to deal with. Keep in mind that you are just talking to some random folks on the internet here. Professional help is always a better choice.

Best of luck to you.

Do you have access to mental healthcare? Whether you do or not, there is probably a suicide hotline for your location. Look it up and call them. They should be able to help you come up with a Plan; they will know which resources are available locally, which those of us writing from the other side of the ocean do not.

I've been there. Don't give up. There used to be a separate Depression Forum on the internet but I just checked and could not find it. Google depression forum or depression support. Do you have access to health care, so you can find a therapist and explore whether medication is needed? I have been dealing with depression since I was a small child (I am now 61) and have had plenty of times when I've been in the pit (as I call it). Things have gotten very bad at times, but there is a tiny piece of me that never totally gives up. I hope you have that piece in you.

Yeah, sometimes life sucks and depression makes it even harder. I'm so sorry that you're hurting. I agree with seeking professional advice. In the meantime, please, please feel free to PM me if you need someone to talk with! I care!

++! to this post! It's as if Mrs Fairway and I lead the same life and the same thoughts.

Don't worry about needing healthcare, there are lots of free resources. Call 1-800-273-8255 https://suicidepreventionlifeline.or...o-someone-now/ immediately.

Talking live to someone is 1000 times better than posting on a forum or chat. Too easy to ignore replies and read only what you want.

Opening up about your thoughts and fears is a good start. Don't just write it, verbalize it to someone, now!

Life can be really, really hard, but you don't actually owe as much as you think, and it will get better, it always does. Life goes down, but it also goes back up.

Please hang in there. Please. It does get better. Depression is a bitch, and you can't let it win.

I've suffered from chronic depression for years. I say the following seriously-

Reasons not to commit suicide-

Everybody at my funeral would likely be in sorrow and agony thinking 'This is my fault'. I don't want to do that to my loved ones.

I feel my life so far has largely been a failure. I REFUSE to die a failure. I must turn my life around before I die.

I feel certain people would get satisfaction out of hearing I've killed myself.. I refuse to give them that satisfaction.

Finally, there's so much I haven't seen or done yet.

I agree with the suggestion to call a hotline.
