GIGObuster and Mean Mr. Mustard get points in this one. GIGO is now in second place, but has a lot of points still to climb!

Sorry. I put him on my list in order to keep him alive. It has been working for me for several years. Had to know it would fail sooner or later.

Multiply her by Joan Crawford and then divide by 2 Laurence Fishburnes?

Semi-related and unknown to anyone outside the MMP ------ when Dad died we were at a loss. We knew at a certain point he had his age raised by a baptismal certificate (all the town/county/state records had been lost in a fire) so he could join the military several years underage. And then we know he faked a birth certificate outright making himself younger after the service since people were talking about "mandatory retirement" and things like that. We basically had a 6 year span -- we knew it was after this year but before this year. Mother just took her best guess and that went in the obit and on his stone.

(Once she joins him and Beloved Brother joins them both, assuming I am still alive, I'm adding a question mark to his stone)

What's the most years someone has played this game without scoring any points? Asking for a friend…

Well, I have the spreadsheets for 2013-2016, plus this year. It would take a while to sorts through them. Someone else did 2017-2018.

I did, when I had nothing better to do, compile a list of the celebs who were on each list. There were a total of thirty-five who appeared on all five of the lists I have done so far. I didn't search theri names for 2017-2018, but I'm assuming, for what that's worth, they were there too.

I started playing before I became the Death Mistress, but kept no records of who I picked.

My oldest surviving list is from 2013. I was going for the "Quantity, not Quality" award, and picked film people who were between ninety five and one hundread years old. ONly two obliged me, for a total of three points. Of course three of them died in 2014. Of the thirteen picks I had, four are still alive, all over one hundred now.

Earl Camerson 8/8/1917
Marsha Hunt 10/17/1917
Nehemiah Persoff 8/2/1919
Norman Lloyd 11/8/1914

I wouldn't advise picking them, they have got very, VERY, good at staying alive.

I have a list from 2004 and nobody I picked is still living. But one of them didn't die until 2016. The rest, 2004 to 2008.
If I looked , could probably find one from before that one.

Now the world has gone to bed,
Darkness won't engulf my head,
I can see in infrared,
How I hate the night.

Now I lay me down to sleep,
Try to count electric sheep,
Sweet dream wishes you can keep,
How I hate the night.

I'll start: my first entries were in 2018, and everyone on both of my lists survived the year. However, this year I've gotten points from two people on my celebrities list and one on my themed list.

So I went for one whole year without points! Let's see someone beat that record!

I went 0-my first 3-4 Pools. I didn't score for the first time ever until Joey Feek died a few years back, and I only got that one because she was a "gimmie." It was like the free space on a Bingo card.

I looked at the names on my first list. Maggie popped my cherry rather early on that year. Something like half of that list has died since then, but none of them gave me any points. I had the king of Thailand for several years, but he would not put out until I took him off.

I won a couple three years ago, and I haven't made a single point this year.

What's the latest in the year you had your first death?

In 2011, I had nothing until Chris Hitchens died on December 15. Two days later, I got Kim Jong-Il.

My only two deaths were with 16 days or less in the year.

In 2011, I had nothing until Chris Hitchens died on December 15. Two days later, I got Kim Jong-Il.

My only two deaths were with 16 days or less in the year.
I won the Final hours award one year with Benazir Bhutto. She was my only pick with points that year, on December 27th.

Speaking of points, I'll tote up the points for Leah Bracknell this evening, I was just popping in now before I go to work.
