Bill Paxton? Jeff Daniels? Bill Pullman?

You guys haven't looked at the big picture.

Take a look at Fametracker's Battle of the Generic Gentlemen: Brad Johnson vs. Bill Campbell vs. Bill Pullman vs. Jeff Daniels vs. Bill Paxton

Till about six months ago, I sometimes confused Vince Vaughn and Jon Favreau. "You know - the guy from Swingers!"

For years I thought that Paul Prud'homme was a character played by Dom Deluise. I couldn't understand the Prud'homme character, though; Deluise did comedy, and this character didn't seem to be going for laughs.

Now I understand. Apparently when he wasn't cooking, Paul Prud'homme used the stage name Dom Deluise to do comedy.

Oh, and I have trouble telling Katherine Hepburn from Billy Idol, but only where their voices are concerned.

I never actually confuse the two, but I think Jon Favreau looks exactly like a younger version of Tony Soprano (James Gandolfini.) Favreau is starting to go bald, it seems, and he really looks just like the guy now.

Like here, for example. If they ever made some kind of Sopranos prequel or something, Favreau should be in it.

This is one of the most astute comments I've heard in a very long time. The reason it's so funny is because we all realize how true it is.

For those of you who don't know who Roger Daltrey is (I'm assuming there are some people who don't, or else there would be dozens of responses saying how hilarious this is) he is this guy.

I know plenty of people dig her body, but as someone for whom a woman's face is everything, it's painful to see her being presented as a sex symbol.

I watched Seabiscuit and thought "It's great to see Parker Posey get mainstream roles"

Saw the commercial for 40 Year Old Virgin and thought, "Parker looks good with blonde hair"

Apparently Elizabeth Banks is not Parker Posey

I secretly believe that the Singer Michael Buble is actually Michael Deluise (Andys older son who gets killed in NYPD).

Oh, and we apparently don't get FRENCH benefits either.

Henry Winkler and Richard Belzer. Anyone?

http://us.imdb.com/name/nm0001857/

http://www.nndb.com/people/141/000023072/

So Richard Belzer is skinnier - I think they were doppelgangers back when Winkler was younger.

I have never been able to tell the difference between Mary-Louise Parker and Elizabeth Perkins. It really confused me when I realized they were both on Weeds.

Brian Cox and Albert Finney are also indistinguishable to me.

Or is that Isabella?

I'm a little faceblind so Harper's Island was as confusing as all get out. All those thin blonde actresses.

You can't tell me the husband in the Jake from State Farm commercial wasn't Vince VaughnI.

Brad Pitt and Benecio Del Toro have been slowly moving toward convergence over the last couple of decades. In another twenty years, they may well be totally indistinguishable from each other.

Anna Friel and Haylay Atwell. Maybe they're both just English brunettes, but I can barely tell them apart.

Jane Levy and Emma Stone are both adorable redheads (usually)who play "spunky" really well. They could be sisters.

Years ago, Elizabeth Banks had a small part on Modern Family as a crass, party girl type. I was so distracted by trying to determine if it was EB or Chelsea Handler that I missed the whole point of the storyline.
