That quote Snowboarder gave isn't from her campaign, it's from some other Senator who I don't believe is even up for reelection next year. It's rather doubtful that a candidate in Kentucky is going to follow the Connecticut Senator's playbook.

My bet would be on refusing to censure or to even contemplate impeachment hearings for some truly egregious action on the part of Trump (I mean, even more egregious than we've already seen).
The only way to beat McConnell is with someone authentic and the Democrats keep on recruiting fake moderates who everyone knows will vote with the leadership when it really counts. McConnell is a unique beast: a bwahahaha evil politician who brags about it and gets a twinkle in his eye when called on his bullshit. Voters find that more attractive than an "aw shucks" fake moderate who is actually a liberal and won't be truthful about whether they'll back Kentucky voters or Chuck Schumer when push comes to shove.

I have wandered away to check Sen. Turtle's polling numbers in Kentucky. As you may now, I lean somewhat left of center, and perhaps am biased in my reading. Maybe these numbers are not as dismal and dark as I see them, due to my skewed observance. Therefore, I invite you to peruse them as well, and show me the error of my observations. I could be wrong, his favorability may be better than painful rectal itch. I wait with bated breath.

Did not intend to poison the well by picking out examples, but to encourage a consult with the Googlemonster. Which is what I did, "McConnell polling in Kentucky" I saw what I saw, and reported in the largest context. Joe Bob 'luc says "Check it out!"

I don't mind doing the work, and I found that indeed, Mitch McConnell is enjoying Jacque Chirac levels of popularity. But you still have to beat him with something real.

What a fucked up asshole. Seriously, there are no words. Putting your opponent's name on a mock tombstone. If only Kentuckians had the sense to vote against this sucker of orange cock.

What do you mean? 'Lowlife' is a word, 'vile' is a word, 'indecent' is a word, 'typical' is a word...

But those that we have previously called lowlife or vile or indecent pale in comparison to Moscow Massacre Mitch McTurtle. There need to be more profound words to describe the depth of his depravity.

OK, then, "McConnell" is a word. And apologies to anyone else who happens to carry that surname.

Perhaps at some point "Mitch" and "Donald" will be as unthinkable names for children as "Adolf", "Benedict", "Lee Harvey", and "John Wilkes" are now.

Not any more. It's hard to see any twinkles beneath the sad tears he sheds when his delicate fee-fees are hurt by the name "MOSCOW MITCH".

When I was a lad, we were subjected to Civil Defense cartoons featuring a CD turtle offering us advice on how to survive a thermonuclear bomb. Steal that image and use the legend "Suck! and Cover!!".

Just scratching a mental itch, I google what's his net worth? I got 22 million. Naturally, I'm thinking modest living habits and shrewd investment.

If Trump and McConnell lose, then I'm hosting a party, and you're all invited*. But seriously, Trump obviously has no place being president. Neither by ability nor character. But McConnell is just pure vile evil. He's everything that is wrong with any political system.

He married someone with an MBA from Harvard and a rich family. She's dabbled in lower paying appointed political positions but has been the primary earner in the household between those periods. Then his mother in law died and his wife received an inheritance in the 5-25 million mandatory reporting band in 2007.

From the Washington Post fact check when his 2014 opponent tried implying something more nefarious about his net worth and it's rapid increase:
Quote:
In other words, virtually all of the increase in McConnell’s increase in net worth comes from his wife’s money, not his congressional work.
I probably shouldn't be surprised it's coming up again. There are still people that question Obama's birth certificate.

McConnel's campaign Twitter account was just suspended for posting protestors swearing outside his home. Interestingly, the account wasn't suspended when he posted pictures of tombstones with his political opponent's names on them.

You aren't going to see many early Kentucky polls. They don't tend to poll a lot for races in such partisan territory. The only one I see is from June before her announcement and it assumed Jim Gray would be the D nominee. McConnell +8.
http://www86.realclearpolitics.com/e...gray-6919.html

That same poll gave Trump a 60% strong/somewhat approval.

I wonder what the logic was on that one.

People gather outside your home, wish that you had broken your neck, and say that you should be stabbed in the heart, and McConnell's account gets suspended for mentioning it. Why doesn't Twitter want people to know that it happened?

Shodan

Because twitter has dumb rules that are applied inconsistently.

Do we actually have a statement from Twitter as to which posting(s) caused the ban? It looks to me like maybe he was banned for the tombstone thing, and he's just lying when he says that it's because of his honest account of what people are saying to him.

Because Mitch McConnell lying is usually the safe bet, and because he did in fact commit the offense that Twitter claimed he did, just in a different post.
