I think that that Fleischer tweet was a joke. I think. Though of course, with Poe's Law, you can never be sure.

I really don’t think it was. It would be a strange joke.

Yes, it was a strange joke, and not a particularly funny joke, and if it had been made by a prominent liberal I suspect many prominent conservatives would be exploding with outrage about the tastelessness and cluelessness of making such a joke at such a time. But I think it was intended as a joke.

I thought so too, but then I saw he's a Fox News contributor, so I have to assume he's just that dumb.

We need to find ways to put Republicans in jail.

When the Dems take over, we need to put the republicans on a terror watch list.

We need education camps.

That's the type of education camps they need.

I am guessing that it is the only VP not attending the funeral of a President... is the President in the casket who was a VP. Except you would have to add the qualifier of "living" to VP and well that sorta kills the joke.

Not funny but pretty odd offbeat thing to hit one's mind. How many VPs have became President?

14 VPs have become president: 5 by later election, 8 when the President died, and 1 when the President resigned.

The genesis of "Righter", the dating app that caters specifically to the MAGAtrons:

Quote:
Die-hard Trump supporter Christy Edwards Lawton was at a Manhattan party last year when she noticed a beautiful woman across the room.

The woman, who had “stunning” good looks, according to Lawton, seemed like someone who would have no trouble finding love. But she also had a surprising secret: she couldn’t find a boyfriend in New York City because she voted for Trump.

“I’m a Republican,” the woman whispered to Lawton, she recalled. “They don’t want me.”

Faced with romantic despair, Lawton saw opportunity....
Yeah, that sounds totally like something that actually happened and was not made up to lead into a cheesy lesbian porn scene convince the suckers that Hot Babes are waiting for their call.

Exactly, we should require that they use crayons to practice their ABCs and color within the lines - let's start with the basics first.

Dear Infowars,

I never thought something like this would happen to me...

Yes, this story hits all the dating app advertising clichés by promising a website full of incredibly attractive women desperate for male attention. But I'm sure that Trump supporters will, with their keen critical thinking skills, see through such a transparently obvious ploy.

Anything other than take personal responsibility for his own action. (Which in this case would have required noticing that part of his tweet had turned blue, and then educating himself on what had caused that to happen, deleting the tweet, and re-posting it with a space after the period. TOO MUCH WORK!!!!!)

Former FoxNews anchor and current State Department spokeswoman Heather Nauert is reportedly in line to be the next US Ambassador to the UN. Nauert is the person who dropped this little turd back in June:

Yes, D-Day is an excellent example of America's "strong relationship with Germany".

She also said this when asked about whether ambassadors should publicly express their personal opinions:
Quote:
Ambassadors have a right to express their opinion. They’re representatives of the White House, whether it’s this administration or other administrations.
So...maybe?

A pending lawsuit has brought to light the news that, in 2012, Jerry Falwell Jr. struck up a "friendly relationship" with a 21-year-old Miami pool boy, flew him around on his private jet, and loaned him $800,000 to buy a hostel.

I'm absolutely sure that this was a completely innocent business relationship that rich white conservatives engage in with attractive young men on a platonic basis all the time.

It was clearly missionary work. Miami? Was the boy Anglo or brown-skinned? The brown-skinned ones need saving. Unless they're Anglos with a very good tan. Jerry was prolly introducing him to Jesus. (At least, that's what he called it.)

Donald Trump Will Resign Presidency With 10 Minutes Left in Term So Mike Pence Can Pardon Him, Conservative Columnist Predicts

Quote:
In the wake of Robert Mueller's release of key court filings in the Russia probe on Friday, conservative columnist Jennifer Rubin said Sunday that President Donald Trump would pull an unusual last-minute move to protect himself from potential legal action.

“I would predict here on MSNBC that when Trump leaves office he will resign the presidency 10 minutes before Mike Pence leaves office, allowing Pence to pardon him if there is not a Republican president to follow him,” Rubin told the network’s AM Joy program.

I mean, just when I get a handle on this and briefly consider that we are not necessarily living in a simulation where the subjects are being tested for just how much nonsense they can handle, shit like this comes up and causes me to rethink it again.

Well, don't worry. Foxnews has the story covered: "Trump says Stormy payments weren't campaign-related; finance expert agrees" is their current lead story.

They fail to mention that their "finance expert" "has served as counsel for over 40 campaigns, candidates, and PACs, including Stop Hillary PAC, Great America PAC, Stop Pelosi PAC, Stop R.E.I.D. PAC, Draft Newt, Tea Party Leadership Fund, Conservative Action Fund, and the Special Operations Speaks PAC among others.

Steve KKKing of Iowa wants to know from the Google chairman why his (KKKing's) grandaughter saw something unflattering about her Grandwizard on her iPhone.
As the scene cuts to Mr. Google, who lets KKKing know that Google doesn't do the iPhone, I see top-hatted monopoly guy smirking in the background. How in the hell am I supposed to take this seriously?

I don't have time to look it up, but I recall one of LBJ's last speeches (perhaps the State of the Union) ending with a plaintive/whimsical wish that when people remembered his administration, they would think, "we tried."

I have a feeling that his wish has a significantly better chance of coming true than SHS's hope.

I hope the day hasn't arrived when a man who admires a beautiful, talented woman can be labeled a "sexist swine" for doing so. If it has, I'm glad I'm old and will be dead soon.
