So, a question:

Where the the LW trolls hiding out at? [Yes, I realize they aren't actually LW or RW anything]

I'll leave out the long-termers here, but why don't we get drive by trolls spewing lefty rhetoric, esp. radical lefty stuff? Is it because they lurk here long enough to know that the fact that the board is lefty-leaning will give them more "sustenance"?

Troll or confused black teenager?

Would a confused black teenager ever refer to himself as a confused black teenager?

Clothahump apparently has come off his suspension, has learned his lesson and has a whole new attitude.

Actually, just kidding:

If this is such a crap board, why does he keep posting here?

The mind boggles.

'Cause he's a clever, witty writer who's a pleasure to read. I mean, just ask him.

The Precious Snowflake says they're all gone, so he's evidently not counting himself in that number. The best way for Clothahump to improve the board is to stop posting here.

"Whomever" is correct, but not exactly for the reason you state. It agrees with the subject of the dependent clause it introduces.

So:

Welcome back to whomever this is a sock of.
(This is a sock of him)

But:

Welcome back to whoever brought the pie.
(He brought the pie.)

See here, rule 1.

I'm trying to think of some examples. I think we've had a few that were racially oriented, and attacked the board for not supporting non-whites more vehemently. I'm guessing that LW trolls visit RW boards, overall. More "food" to be found.

Nice to be vindicated on this issue, thanks. Now if you could re-frame the sentence so that it doesn't end that way. "Welcome back to the user of whom this is a sock" is pretty awkward.

It's okay to end a sentence with a preposition. There may be some cases where it might be problematic (I can't think of one off-hand), but, for the most part, it's just a grammar superstition not to end a sentence with a preposition and in the same pile of nonsense as not splitting infinitives.

In truth, "whom" is a bastard child of fading grammatical morphology that honestly deserves to be binned once and for all. "Who" and "whoever" ought to be adequate for all uses, because, really, "whom" just sounds stilted anymore.

I'm happy to employ the jolly old standby, 'whichever wunna these fuckers'. It doesn't always flow, but it does capture the attention of the listener.

Nah, whichever wunna these fuckers thinks it doesn't flow is out of their little head. It's one of those phrases which when delivered with the proper accent has a musical rhythm that cannot be denied. It's similar to when, "Fuck you, motherfucker", is delivered with the proper comedy K's.

So who has the time and energy to do research on other recent bannings to determine who his socks were? I'm curious if these were recent creations or longer-term endeavors.

I believe I speculated recently that LinusK was trying to get banned. He was mocking mods, lying AKA trolling in a thread (and got caught doing it). Maybe he just decided to step up his efforts, since that wasn't working.

Lovely news.

I agree with Ramira, above, btw. afuvirus-whosit is another politi-troll.

I suspect, like I've come to realize over the last several months, that Trump is in a "bait" stage and waiting to hammer the libs when they have trapped themselves into a narrative.

Liberals are an enemy of this country. They've proven that. They lie, cheat, and do everything to is counter-productive to National security, sovereignty, economic prosperity.

Enemy of the people. The media is in bed with them and part of the problem

Ladies and Gentlemen, you are witnessing the end of the "Democratic" Party.

Do you think it was a coincidence that Trump waited until AFTER the DNC allied itself with the Obama/Hilarryites, and tossed the Sanders crowd on thier assses?

The other shoe just dropped. bye.

In a thread about Sir Patrick Stewart applying for US citizenship, this bit of blather annoyed me:

I have been trolled. Fine.

What Germany has done to the Eurozone is reprehensible, yes. But I can't endorse Theresa May's policy. She does seem like both a moral coward and a bullheaded...I need a noun...look, the word that comes to mind rhymes with "swat," but I'm afraid that as it refers to a piece of her anatomy it would be taken as a sexist insult. But yes, that.

I found another post by someone called Corruption Killer on the same, for lack of a better word, topic, elsewhere on the net -

I'm sure that by now, anyone with an over room-temperature IQ knows that doorhinge is either an obvious troll or severely mentally ill. In this thread, he suggests that the media is spending all their time reporting on the Obama wiretapping story and ignoring the release of Trumps revised travel ban, which is refuted immediately and fairly thoroughly. Now, since he's a troll, there's no way in hell that he's going to back off and say "Hey, looks like I was wrong." The question is, how will he respond? My guess is he'll just flat out deny that he ever made the suggestion in the first place. He might even include a LOL.
