Everyone else, thanks for all the great submissions! I'll be adding new photos in the next couple of days.

None of these people look anything like the mental picture I had of them. Especially Silenus, who I imagined looking something like Robert Patrick in Terminator 2.

Stealth Potato, for some reason, looks extremely Russian. He looks like a young Russian chemical engineer or something.

Twickster looks like one of those older, professor-looking women who I always get crushes on.

Stranger on a Train looks like a pick-up artist.

AHunter3 looks dangerous. Seriously.

Hi Arnold, thanks for the PM. I'll certainly send some pics. In the meantime, here are some links to very old Dopefests. . .

June 16th, 2001 L.A. Dopefest (Mercutio's pictures)

Spoofe's Dopetoberfest Pics

February 24, 2001 L.A. Dopefest (Spoofe's pics)

April 25, 2001 L.A. Dopefest (Spoofe's pics again)

Nice job on the site!

I knew it!

Seriously, I think I've mentioned this on the boards before, but it's happened to me several times that an actual Russian person comes up to me on the street and begins speaking to me in Russian. They are usually surprised when they realize that I don't know any Russian beyond "yes," "no," and "the toilet won't flush." (Which isn't much of a conversation starter.) The most memorable one was probably the elderly gentleman wearing a thick fur coat and an honest-to-goodness ushanka.

It is a little bit awesome and yet slightly weird because I have no trace of Russian at all in my family.

You look kind of like a killer from some movie, although I'm drawing a blank on exactly which one. Someone who scared me, though. Maybe it's just that one picture. I'm sure you're a very nice guy and everything. But I see the deepest recesses of horror when I look into your eyes.

I'm terrible with that too. I always get some vague-ish image in my head, and it's never even close to accurate. (Most embarrassing is when I even got the gender wrong.... oops! )

You'll have to wait a bit for mine. I'm getting my headshots re-done Dec. 12. (So no one can complain that they're out-of-date. )

Sorry, this is a drawback with the way the gallery is being created right now - updates will only happen every few days. I will try to keep it as timely as possible but these past 4 days family affairs kept me busy.

On the last index page, you mean. I hope everyone is realizing that you go to the full-size pictures by clicking on the smaller picture on the index page. I am wondering if some people are missing that.

It actually caught me by surprise and you even warned me about that. Usually when you click thumbnails you just get larger versions; in this case you get a "full version". Very cool feature!

Calling for the other old folks from the board to post pictures. Am I the oldest woman on SDMB? (age 63)

Honestly, you don't look that old. I'm sure you're not the oldest woman on the SDMB. Just make that your signature and you will be challenged soon enough!
Chefguy, you're old? I couldn't tell. All I saw was a beautiful loaf of bread.

Sadly, all my best current pics are NSFW . . . lol.

Whenever I post my pic, I always end up getting my hair cut/colored/something so that I never look like what I did . . . will look at posting something soon - got a hair cut scheduled this week.

I'll send a photo as soon as I can shave and get together with a friend who has a digital camera. That should be sometime this weekend.

I don't know if Rex Goliath is adorable, or if I'm being distracted by that cute little dog. Nice strategy there! I'm going to have to get a photo of myself frolicking with a baby polar bear, then submit it to the gallery.

If there are a lot of posters who want to send in NSFW pictures, I can create a NSFW section at the gallery, but honestly I dont think that many people would participate.
But please send in a photo of yourself that is SFW! Or you can send a NSFW photo and I can crop it to only include the face and neck.
