Sony HandyCam HDR-FX7 HD (Prosumer) Video Camera

In "as new" condition. No scratches, mars, or damage of any kind. In perfect working order, with original packaging and box.

This camcorder looks quite gadgety, and it is. Tons of controls, custom settings, and ports to attach other devices, but I had no inclination (nor patience) to spend hours simply to learn how to use it optimally so I put it away almost immediately.

I have turned it on and recharged the battery, but I have never used it. I didn't even attempt to adjust any of its settings.

Why am I selling it? I used to tell myself I'd get around to fiddling with it, but after 3 years I realized the only person I was fooling was me, so I might as well sell it while it is still worth something.

The buyer of my Sony HDR-FX7 will get the following.

-- Sony HandyCam HDR-FX7 video camera
-- AC adapter (charges battery while attached to camera)
-- NP-F570 InfoLITHIUM battery (provides approx. 2 hours of power on a single charge)
-- NP-F970 InfoLITHIUM extended battery (provides approx. 8 hours of power on a single charge)
-- A/V stereo connecting cable
-- USB cable
-- Component video cable
-- Lens hood with integrated lens cover
-- Large eye cup
-- Operating Guide (manual)

Purchased new for $2100
Selling for $1100

I just realized while going through the box this evening that my HDR-FX7 came with a remote control. Heh. I never knew it had one.

So add 1 wireless remote to the list of items in the package.

Sadly, it looks like you've waited too long to sell it. People are avoiding any tape-based cameras.
