We're getting Da Jungle gift cards from irk. Being both a non-prime member (they stated we get lower priority) who was thinking about looking for something non-essential (which is also lower priority) I'm wondering if I can get something delivered in time for Xmas???

Acckk...sorry, Spidey. I used to add this at the bottom of every post where I mention COTU.

"COTU is a nickname for the grandkids. When the first one came along, since she was the fist grandkid on both sides of the family, we called her Center of the Universe, or COTU. Because she was! We have a total of three grandkids now, hence, COTU#1, COTU#2, COTU#3 ."

I knew what they were, but 'my' reading of it is also a way to stop scary BANGs...permanently!

Spidey, I think you can get a free month of Prime. Just remember to unsubscribe at the end of the month.

I've had it, dropped it, re-upped, and unsubscribed several times. Don't use a CC as your default payment. I use a limited amount Debit card, or I'd order everything my little heart has a hankering for. I'm kinda out of control. ....bad, bad, bad.

They have been doing this on boxes for years. I used to get the cut-out cardboard airplanes. Once I got a mask. I don't know what triggers these boxes or if it is totally random because out of maybe 100 boxes of assorted sizes, I probably got 7 or 8 with cut-outs.

A friend of my sister's works at one of the warehouses. I'll see if she knows.

I havn't gotten anymore.

While I've ordered 1000s of things from Amazon I had never seen the cut-outs before. Maybe I just wasn't paying attention.

I was watching Blues Brothers today while searching Amazon for something that was actually necessary, and ended up ordering a Harmonica as well. Seems kinda appropriate to learn a few blues riffs while I sit in Covid jail

Hey Back, if you are using Firefox, you can find all your passwords (dunno about other browsers). Click on the 3 bars at the far right of the second line and choose the key icon, logins and passwords. Scroll down the left side till you see Amazon, click on it and click the little eye next to the ******* representing the password.

Bad, bad,bad.

And they weren't cheap either.
That could be considered very classy, like the flatware designed by Raymond Loewy for the Air France Concorde!

My Amazon packages don't have fun stuff like that. I got a 6-pack of pudding mix today, and they just put it in a padded envelope.

They come with a filter pocket that fits right over your nose and mouth. And 20 replacement filter sheets.

Yay! Sez I. A really cool face mask (not that I'm ever going anywhere, alas. No matter)
I pulled the trigger on them. Get a confirmation email. Good.
A few minutes ago I get an email to rate them. I can't rate them, I havn't got them yet.
I'm ignoring that email.

I got another email telling me if I havn't recieved by May 19th I'll need to ask for a refund.

One more email telling me my order# blah, blah, blah has shipped.

I went to Amazon and punch up 'my orders'
It's showing them shipped arriving on May 21st.

I don't know who to believe

I'm not getting my cool neck gaiters w/ removable/disposable filters, am I?
Well, I got a refund on these. I knew they were too good to be true.

Yes. We're not sure we like it. I also got some UHT milk. So the peanut gallery has yet to make a judgement on which one they like. The UHT is 4 times the price.
As long as the regular whole milk is available we'll use that for drinking and cold cereal.
It seems like the regular milk availability has stabilized a bit.
I want something to have stored in case this shit gets crazier.

Gaiters are great for skiing, hunting etc. But mostly they are for heat retention insulation in real cold. I've never heard of one for filtering before. Personally, I've never used a gaiter until -10 at the highest, so I can only imagine filter or not, they would be hell to wear in summer anyway.

My personal orders, again got split up into separate packages, originally scheduled to be delivered over the last week. But then Memorial day weekend screwed everything up apparel, so now I seem to be getting every damn thing on Wednesday once again.

I got mine, although it took a little longer than expected. For some reason I thought there was only one to a unit, so I ordered 2 so I could have one in the wash. Turns out there were two to a unit, so now I have 4 ...

I only need them about once a week, too, so I have weeks' worth of use out of the 20 (10 to a unit) N2.5 (?) filters, plus I (finally) got a package of 50 N2.5 filters. I'm set for years.

They're nice, but they start to loosen a bit so I had to start pulling them back up after about half an hour. Luckily my grocery trips rarely take more than an hour.
