Your Campaign Walk-On Music

You're running for political office (didn't know that, did you? about time I filled you in! ), something high enough up the ladder that it involves lots of staged appearances, complete with your own walk-on music (aka walk-up or walk-out music) when you go on stage. Apparently it's something that candidates do nowadays.

So: what's your walk-on music?

I'm going with "Ain't No Man" by the Avett Brothers. No particular reason, just an upbeat song of recent vintage that I identify with. Seems like a good song to put a bounce in my step as I walk on stage.

"Me So Horny" by 2 Live Crew. That outta "grab 'em" right out of the gate.

(At this point, seemingly nothing is a disqualifer anymore)

Arriving: Sympathy For The Devil

Quote:
Pleased to meet you
Hope you guess my name
But what's puzzling you
Is the nature of my game
Leaving: You Can't Always get what You Want

Quote:
And I went down to the demonstration
To get my fair share of abuse
Singing, "We're gonna vent our frustration
If we don't we're gonna blow a fifty-amp fuse"

During the campaign: The Who "Won't Get Fooled Again"

At my inauguration: the scream and final verse: "Meet the new boss... Same as the old boss!"

If I were standing for Mayor, or other City office, it would have to be Rossini's Make way for the city's factotum.

“Roadrunner,” by the Modern Lovers.

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Gy88-5pc7c8

I’ll catch the Boomer vote because they know the original, and EVERY cultural generation since loves it just because it’s that cool. Hence they will love ME and give me their vote and their slavish devotion.

It would help if I was running for some office within the state of Massachusetts, but I the title “Comptroller of Ipswich” wouldn’t satisfy my power lust.

walk on: disorder by ice-t/body count/slayer if cnn wont allow that one "better off dead" by bad religion

Walk off bonzo goes to bitburg by the ramones or "hooray for me" also by bad religion

my theme songs for the campaign would be "the handshake" by bad religion and "dont drag me down" by social distortion .....
