There is a photo spreading throughout the interwebs, of a super-colorful caterpillar with rasta-esque spikes. It comes up every few weeks, and each time it does I instantly thin of George Clinton.

So yesterday, it did, and I did, and once again "Give up the Funk" is stuck on my brain . . . because I saw a caterpillar.

"Take Me To the River".

Heard the Al Green version a couple days ago, but it's the Talking Heads rendition that I'm earworming.

Adagio in G minor, Tomaso Albinoni

I'm in the 60s folder on my car stereo's memory card. Currently getting a few Monkees songs. I've been getting Pleasant Valley Sunday running thru here and there and thinking of Peter Tork.

Could be worse.

Autumn Almanac by the Kinks - just heard it in Morrison's Supermarket (!)

Oh, and I watched something about the Byrds on TV last night, so now I'm stuck with Eight Miles High and Chestnut Mare.

I mean, they're all great, I'm fine with it. Three earworms in two ears - I need more ears.

Mine is this: K/DA - POP/STARS, from League of Legends.

It turned up in the latest iteration of Beat Saber, and I love it.

Supertramp's "Give a Little Bit" has been on more or less constant repeat in my head for about 5 days now. I love the song, but it's getting old.

Don McLean’s “Everybody Loves Me Baby”. Which is a totally awesome song that deserves to be better known.

“Angels guide my every tread
My enemies are sick or dead
But all the victories I’ve led
Haven’t brought you to my bed”

Sadly, my earworm is the theme song from Mr. Belvedere.

I know how/when. Husband was repeatedly whistling a different song, poorly, that didn't sound anything like the Mr. Belvedere theme song. I asked him to quit whistling the theme song, and he said he didn't think he was, so we looked it up on youtube and now it is stuck in my head.

Going on four days :-(

Dog Days are Over by Florence and the Machine. I made a video for a work event and, since the event is over, we put it up on social today.

I don't usually admire my own work like this, but I've watched it a whole bunch of times. Partly, it's just because I love the song. But it's the video, too. It came together really well.

Although over the course of writing this post, now "On My Way" by Phil Collins is in my head because that's what I used for one of my previous videos and I was thinking about how I've only watched that one through since finishing it enough times to make sure it exported/loaded/posted/etc correctly and I don't know if it's because the video wasn't as good or the song wasn't.

For some reason, I have this 1980s pop song "Baby Love" by Regina stuck in my head. I heard somebody blasting it from their car stereo a few months ago, and I hadn't heard or thought of it in years or decades. (It's not a cover of the Supremes song with the same title.)

That’s a good one. From an overall very good album with some excellent songs.

Weird, but mine is Push, the song performed by Randy Marsh as the singer Lorde in the South Park episode "The Cissy". It was actually sung by the Australian singer Sia. I really enjoy that song.

Feelin' good on a Wednesday

Weird because it was inspired by Randy taking a dump.
