Good things about freezing cold weather:

1. Burn more calories being outside
2. Kills bugs
3. Gives lots of northern tourist dollars to Gulf Coast businesses
4. Cross country skiing
5. Kills germs, so less flu
6. No lightning storms
7. Cozy evenings spent in front of the fireplace reading a good book
8. You don't have snow falling when it gets really cold
9. I don't have to sweat
10. Less confusing than freezing hot weather
11. The Iditarod Sled Dog Race!
12. Kitty snuggles
13. Downhill skiing and snowboarding, very different from x-country skiing above!

Pass

Okay, technically, it's a school for girls with "special abilities" - which can be magic but might also be super powers, psychic skills, alien possession, lycanthropy, or training in some secret knowledge.
