Polytheism. That noble institution.

The worship of Parrots.

That's pollythism. Polytheism is the worship of things that are round and roly.

At least there is inarguable proof of Pollytheism. Here is actual film of the leading disciples discussing the resurrection of the major deity.

It's better than monotheism. I don't know why anyone would worship a contagious viral disease anyway.

Good illustration of why the world switched to atheism.

Polytheism is good. If one deity is constipated, others may flow freely. But if only one deity is around, beware.

Polytheism is good. If you admit others exist, you can't just ravage and slaughter in the name of your "true" god.

Polytheism is good. When you run out of sacrifices for some gods, others will gladly take the juicy leftovers.

Polytheism is good. You can cast model figurines of many divinities and sell them online as a matched set.

Polytheism is good. With enough holy days to take off for celebratory rituals, there's no time for employment.

Become an agnostic, like me, and worship Agnost.

We can't get together for worship, because we have no idea where to go. Or when.

That depends on what the meaning of "a" is.

I'm picturing that standard trope of a person with a little angel on one shoulder talking into one ear, and a little devil on the other shoulder talking into the other ear. That's stereotheism.

A theist is not a-theist.

That said, I've known a few schoolchildren and their parents who worship the almighty A, and yea do many years of study and labors in service to it.

Does a pool-theist worship diving boards or carry a custom cue stick?

Meanwhile, don't forget that the opposite of polygamy is monotony.

Is polynucleosis worse than mononucleosis? How can you tell?

Mono-ticks are single ticks. Poly-ticks are many ticks.

I can locate Mono Lake but not Poly Lake. Coincidence?

You get apples from an apple tree, pears from a pear tree, peaches from a peach tree. I'm still looking for a country.
