Sam's Club Members Mark will start selling Chick-fil-a style sandwiches and Wafflle fries.

I've always found the Members Mark items really good at Sam's Club. We've been buying them since the 1980's. It's one of the best store brands that I buy.

I plan to get a bag of the sandwiches ASAP and try. I'll pass on the waffle fries. I'm excited about the convenience of a hot chicken sandwich anytime I want.

I wonder how they're getting away with copying it so closely? The packaging looks almost identical to Chick-fil-A.

Craving Chick-fil-A on a Sunday? Sam's Club just rolled out its version of Chick-fil-A's iconic chicken sandwich and waffle fries.

Sam's Club's in-house brand Member's Mark put its own spin on the iconic breaded chicken sandwich, but it looks nearly identical to Chick-fil-A's flagship product. The package even features the Sam's Club sandwiches dressed with pickle slices, just like the real thing.

Alas, all the local Sam's Clubs have gone the way of the dodo. Nearest location is over two hours away, over state lines. Things would get cold on the way home....

The classic option is Tyson Chicken patties. We buy a box every month for sandwiches. Been doing that since the 1980's.

Sam's Club will have to be extremely good for us to switch from Tyson. Fresh buns are always better than frozen.

I'll give a review.

I plan to visit Sam's Club this weekend. Hoping they will have the chicken sandwiches. I imagine they'll sell out fast because people want to try new products.

I'm impressed at the price. $16 for a box of ten. $1.60 for a sandwich is quite a value.

I hope they aren't tiny sliders. That would be disappointing.

Their packaging is red-and-white, and they use a cursive font, but I disagree that it looks "almost identical" to Chick-fil-A's packaging (example here), though Sam's Club is clearly intending to be reminiscent of Chick-fil-A in their packaging.

If it *was* too close, you can bet that Chick-fil-A would be filing a lawsuit about trade dress infringment. As I understand it, you can't trademark a simple color scheme. You can have a custom font, but that doesn't protect you from someone using a similar font.

Sam's Club is one of my stops today. I hope to find them! I've never had a Chik-fil-a anything so I'll have nothing to compare it to. We don't have that restaurant in my area. The only thing I might not like is if there is a bun included - they never seem to come out very good when they're frozen. Might have to remove the bun and thaw it first.
