There's at least one song referencing Johnny Cash and June Carter, but I can't think of it now. Probably more than one.

Oh, and Chelsea Hotel by Alejandro Escovedo mentions Sid and Nancy. Apparently Alejandro lived there when that murder went down.

Surprised no one has mentioned this, or more likely I missed it. The two young lovers with nothing better to do:

Billy Jo and Bobby Sue - the Steve Miller Band "Take the Money and Run"

Nine times out of ten, when somebody says "I'm surprised no one has mentioned this," someone has mentioned it.

Creeque Alley by the Mamas & Papas. It starts with John and Mitchy (Michelle) as the main couple, then adds Denny, then name-checks everyone in the folk-rock music scene, and ends every verse with Mama Cass.

They weren't just there for the cattle rustlin'. And the OP doesn't specify a couple of what.

Duets about love that mention the names of the singers:
"Home" by Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros [Jade and Alexander]
"It's True That We Love One Another" by the White Stripes [Jack and Holly]

Ben Folds (Five) seem(s) to come close, but "Zak and Sara" is the only song of his/theirs I can think of that precisely matches the criteria. "Where's Summer B.?" mentions Ross and Frank, while "Steven's Last Night in Town" arguably mentions Steven and Tamara Easter, but the subject of those songs is stated in the title.

Famous Blue Raincoat - "Jane" is mentioned several times, and the song signs off "Sincerely, L. Cohen". And they are a couple.

"Della and the Dealer" doesn't quite make it, as the Dealer is never named. On the other hand, it does contain a dog named Jake and a cat named Kalamazoo, so maybe it qualifies after all?

George, George, George of the jungle
Strong as he can be
Ahhh
Watch out for that tree ...

Then away he'll schlep
On his elephant Shep
While Fella and Ursula
Stay in step with
George, George,…

Their coupledness was clearer in the scripts.

Kenny Rogers' "The Long Arm of the Law"

In Cumberland Kentucky
On a cool hot evening
Billy lay in love with Mary Ann,
She was a rich judge's daughter
He was a son of a miner
But that night their love was more than they could stand

Same as in the book that inspired her song, Wuthering Heights by Kate Bush names Heathcliff and Cathy.

I'm too cool and trendy to listen to Taylor Swift but my understanding is her song Love Story is another that names Romeo and Juliet.

The novelty song Jilted John by Jilted John (well known in the UK) names his paramore Julie, quotes her calling him John and also names John's more successful rival in love, Gordon.
