The 22yo's bringing her White Russians at Mara Lago, earning side $ as gigolos to bored rich housewives.

But... enough about myself! How about that bastard Trump?!?!?

Saw this on Doonsbury's daily comic site:
Quote:
"We saw $1.75 for gasoline today, coming in. I'm riding in this incredible car, and I'm driving, and I'm looking at gas stations to see how much is the gas. How many other Presidents -- you think Hillary Clinton would have done that? I don't think so. I'm in the Beast -- the world's most expensive car...and I'm looking at gas stations. I say, 'Fellas, slow up. I can't see.' They say, '$1.75.'...That didn't happen by accident, folks...Very little happens by accident."
-- Trump to American Farm Bureau Federation Convention

The shithead's sorry excuse for a mind can only process what hats little shits were wearing while being little shits. Nope, none of this "good people on both sides" for them. They get a The Price Is Right "Come on down" to the White House. I bet he serves them better food than take-out burgers & fries.

I wonder if they'll celebrate by wearing blackface again.

Trump’s golf course employed undocumented workers — and then fired them amid showdown over border wall
Quote:
OSSINING, N.Y —They had spent years on the staff of Donald Trump’s golf club, winning employee-of-the-month awards and receiving glowing letters of recommendation.

Some were trusted enough to hold the keys to Eric Trump’s weekend home. They were experienced enough to know that when Donald Trump ordered chicken wings they were to serve him two orders on one plate.

But on Jan. 18, about a dozen employees at Trump National Golf Club in Westchester County, N.Y., were summoned, one by one, to talk with a human resources executive from Trump headquarters.

During the meetings, they were fired because they are undocumented immigrants, according to interviews with the workers and their attorney. The fired workers are from Latin America.
...

In Westchester County, workers were told Trump’s company had just audited their immigration documents — the same ones they had submitted years earlier — and found them to be fake.

“Unfortunately, this means the club must end its employment relationship with you today,” the Trump executive said, according to a recording that one worker made of her firing.

“I started to cry,” said Gabriel Sedano, a former maintenance worker from Mexico who was among those fired. He had worked at the club since 2005. “I told them they needed to consider us. I had worked almost 15 years for them in this club, and I’d given the best of myself to this job.”

“I’d never done anything wrong, only work and work,” he added. “They said they didn't have any comments to make.”
....
Yeah, send those criminals, drug addicts, and human traffickers back where they came from! Fifteen years ago.

Casablanca, deleted scene:

"I am shocked-- shocked! to find that there are undocumented immigrants working here."

"Your double order of chicken wings, sir."

I saw that coming. As an alternative would I have been better off had y'all had given me $5b in mixed denominations and non-sequential serial numbers, condition not a factor? I'll save the Fed the trouble of shredding used bills, so drop off a few garbage bags. I live 20 miles from the Chicago office so delivery is cheap, or I could pick them up.

It's honestly not that hard. All they have to do is say the Democrats refuse to negotiate out a deal with the president. They're the ones digging their heels in about border security when Trump just wants to get everyone back to work.

Yesterday we did a quick and dirty on our taxes. Looks like as senior citizens with fixed incomes, filing jointly, our taxes went UP by $800. Thank god the fucking billionaires got huge tax breaks. And since we can't reach the charitable deduction threshhold any longer, we can't even get a break there.

We lost the $1,000 child tax credit because Sophia aged out.

Even though it's her fault, I'll still blame Trump because Sophia is far more awesome than Dotard the Individual-1.

If you don't mind me asking, how is this possible? Did you have a lot of deductions last year that you are not allowed to take this year?

Also in the quick and dirty stage, but it looks like my taxes went up a LOT. Same income, same deductions...but I live in California and mortgage interest and property tax were big deductions in the past.

I don't know if mine went up "perse" - but thanks to the changes and me counting on the same exemptions as previous years, I owe a bit. My fault for not checking sooner, but.

Also - the change to the standard deductible compared to my itemization seemed to be a wash over all - but it still feels like I'm losing the ability to deduct mortgage interest, etc.

But the standard deduction doubled, more than what 2 seniors on a fixed income would have gotten via the personal exemptions.

I'm not arguing that some people pay more, just curious how that particular poster, in that particular instance, is paying more.

Couldn't take charitable deductions because they raised the ceiling. But the big difference is that they eliminated the income exclusion, and rolled it into the standard deduction. Whatever averaging method was used ended up in a net loss for us and a net gain for people with higher incomes, as they immediately became beneficiaries of the increased standard deduction.

I'm not familiar with "income exclusion" except for foreign income exclusion. Is that what you are talking about?

Sorry: 'exemptions', not 'exclusions'. Line 42 used to say that if line 38 was less than $156,000, you used a multiplier to come up with an amount that knocked your taxable income down a significant amount. Last year, that reduced our income from $104K to about $70K. That's no longer there, and the increased standard deduction falls short by $800.

Well, Putin is texting Shit-Gibbon everything Putin wants Shit-Gibbon to think Shit-Gibbon knows. It's different from what, not the Deep State, but the people Shit-Gibbon appointed, are telling Shit-Gibbon. So who is SG going to believe? The answer is, of course, obvious. Toss in some Faux News fictions, and we might as well furlough the entire FBI, CIA and NSA and all those other intelligence gathering agencies. Don't need them with such strong alternate fact sources.
