His onscreen presence was a still photo of him staring out at you, big brother style, looking like Howard Hughes. And his voice was that familiar one from DS9.

I just saw Ian Wolfe, who played Mr. Atoz in TOS' "All of Our Yesterdays", was greedy bank owner John Harrison in the Bonanza episode, "Bank Run". Bank Run was one of Bonanza's occasional comic episodes in which Little Joe and Hoss wind up robbing a bank (for strictly heroic reasons, of course).

I was watching the episode The Ship on Star Trek: Deep Space 9 the other night, which had the following exchange between a crewman and Chief O'Brien (Colm Meaney).

Muņiz: I thought maybe you just stopped to catch your breath.

Chief O'Brien: Me, out of breath? I was climbing mountains in Ireland before you were born.

Muņiz: You mean hills, don't you? They've gently sloping hills in Ireland - no mountains. But what do I know? After all, you're the mountain man - an old mountain man.

Chief O'Brien: You know something, Muņiz? You're due for a transfer. How does waste extraction sound?

I caught the joke right away. The writers were having fun with Meaney's role in the movie The Englishman Who Went Up A Hill, But Came Down A Mountain.

In doing a quick search of this thread, I noticed no one has mentioned Rosalind Chao as Klinger's wife, Soon-Lee on M*A*S*H and as Keiko O'brien on ST:TNG and DS9.

Julie "Eleen" Newmar, the original "Catwoman" on Batman, reprised the role by voicing the character in Warner Bros. animated Return of the Caped Crusaders.

https://youtu.be/xqEWavOxmWM?t=149

I had as much fun watching this cartoon as I did when the original series debuted in January 1966!

One of three actors who were on both Batman and Star Trek. Frank "The Riddler" Gorshin played Commissioner Bele in Let That Be Your Last Battlefield and Yvonne "Batgirl" Craig played Marta, the Orion woman in Whom Gods Destroy.

Also, Julie "Lt Palomas" Parrish, as a beauty queen kidnapped by the Penguin.

I just posted this in another thread, but it fits here as well. Armin "Quark" Shimmerman played the owner of a Briard dog who offered Al Bundy $10,000 to breed her with Buck in the Married With Children episode "Buck the Stud".

Henry Woronicz, multiple roles in TNG and VOY, as "Father Curtis" on Seinfeld. Among other roles, he was also leader of the KACL focus group on Frasier.

Looking over the full cast list for Batman, there were a LOT of actors who appeared in both. They include Grace Lee Whitney, Roger C Carmel, Lee Meriwether, Joan Collins, Ted Cassidy, Malachi Throne, Meg Wyllie, Charles Dierkop, Teri Garr, Angelique Pettyjohn, Bill Quinn, Stanley Adams, Lloyd Hanes, Billy Curtis, Marianna Hill, Nancy Kovack, and Sherry Jackson.

I was watching "Shore Leave" for the first time in many years the other day. This passage caught my attention:

TONIA: He had a cloak, sir, and a dagger with jewels on it.

KIRK: Are you sure you're not imagining all this?

TONIA: Captain, I know it sounds incredible, but I did not imagine it any more than I imagined he did this.

MCCOY: Sounds like Don Juan.

TONIA: Yes. Yes. It was so sort of story book walking around here, and I was thinking, all a girl needs is Don Juan. Just day dreaming, the way you would about someone you'd like to meet.

KIRK: Mister Sulu was with you. Where is he now?

TONIA: He ran after him.

That last bit kinda takes on a whole new meaning now, doesn't it?

LOL.

I was just at the Lincoln Presidential Museum in Springfield, Ill., which is worth a visit. No reference to the President's appearance in "The Savage Curtain," but there was a mini-theater with an interactive "Ask Mr. Lincoln" series of FAQs on everything from the Presidency, to growing up on a farm, to religion (he liked preachers "who look like they're fighting bees") and the Civil War. The narrator was the late William Schallert, Nilz Baris in "The Trouble with Tribbles." He had a bit more of a Kentucky twang than the Federation bureaucrat we all saw, but you can definitely recognize his voice.

He's normally portrayed as being more of a baritone (like Gregory Peck), but contemporary reports say Lincoln had a high, reedy voice that carried well, even in wide open spaces (like at Gettysburg).

Of course, the "Lincoln" we saw on TOS came straight from Kirk's imagination, so he was probably influenced by watching old movies.

Kavi Raz, "Assistant Chief Engineer Singh" on TNG, as "Dr Vijay Kochar" on St Elsewhere. Looking at his page at Memory Alpha, I see a lot of other Trek alumni appeared on that show:

https://memory-alpha.fandom.com/wiki/Kavi_Raz

Singh was the ultimate redshirt, even though Engineering was by this time gold: He was zapped by an alien before the second commercial break.

Watching the Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea episode, Fatal Cargo, I see a white gorilla suit that looks like mogato critter sans horn from A Private Little War. It growls like a gorn. I wonder if the two shows shared a white gorilla suit and sound effects.

Don't know about sound efx, but the suit is the same, as is the actor in it:

A rerun of "Barnaby Jones" was on last night with *Bill Zuckert (TOS: "Spectre of the Gun") and Meg Wyllie ("The Keeper" from "The Cage/Menagerie")
And as a bonus in the same ep: Mark Goddard from "Lost in Space."
(And, unrelated to the thread, a brief appearance of a young Nick Nolte.)

*Zuckert was one of those actors who was pretty much everywhere, although you seldom remember his name. Somewhat similar to Ken Lynch.

Here's an obscure one, and a rather surprising spot:
Sid Haig. . He played First Lawgiver in the TOS episode "Return of the Archons". He's mostly known for roles in horror movies.

But I didn't see him in a horror movie - instead, I saw him on a TV cooking competition show, as a judge, when people were competing to design Halloween-themed displays (Food Network / Halloween Wars). I looked him up afterward; turned out, he had died just a month or so earlier; I don't recall whether the show was a repeat of an earlier year or had simply been filmed just before his death.

Yet another ST--Batman crossover: He played "The Royal Apothecary" in a second-season "King Tut" outing.*

*No pun intended.

Madlyn Rhue played Marla McGivers, the historian who aided and went into banishment with Kahn Noonian Singh, was in the Route 66 episode, Every Father's Daughter. I recognized the actress, but had to consult IMDB and Memory Alpha to find her name.

Here's one for you: A very young* Clint "Balok" Howard in this series, the history of which is interesting:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PFHuJxhP538

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Baileys_of_Balboa

How could anybody not like Gilligan's Island?

*Two years before he appeared on Star Trek.
