Hold mail "end date"

Wonder when USPS "holds mail", whether its end date means the day it delivers accumulated mail or the next day that it will deliver? i.e., if hold mail "ends" on 9/25, does it still hold mail through that day and delivers it on 9/26, or does it deliver on 9/25?

This page indicates it's the day you specify as an end date.

I've used Hold Mail in the past, and I don't recall if this is the case or not, but that's what the site says, anyway. You could call the number on the page I linked to for a more authoritative answer, I suppose.

I use Hold Mail frequently, and yearofglad's link is correct. The "end date" is the day they deliver it to your mailbox.
