Light My Fire Knife

http://lightmyfire.com/products/prod...fireknife.aspx

I grabbed one of these off Woot for a few bucks in the Spring. I took it with me on my annual two week vacation in the Outer Banks. There, the deal is struck, my brother pays for the house and I buy the food and cook. I treat it as an opportunity to experiment with recipes and cutlery. I used the Swedish Fireknife as my primary paring and utility knife for the duration of the trip. It took, and held, a scarily sharp edge. I used the fire starting gimmick to set some paper towels on fire in the sink, just to see if it would work. Later, I used it to light a gas grill and to ignite a flambe I had going just to see if it would work. These babies perform all out of proportion to what they cost. I unequivocally recommend.
