Was it ever revealed what that little white thing was on Cruz’s lip during the 2016 debate? The little white thing that moved around in such a disturbing manner? I like to think it was a maggot.

You can watch it here. I think it might have been a piece of popcorn or perhaps a breath mint.

Or a maggot.

Personally, I think it would have been funnier if Cohen's "pedophile detector" didn't beep for Moore, but then have Cohen look at the silent device in mild confusion before declaring "The batteries, I forgot to bring," and putting it down. Having it beep pretty much ends the interview. Not having it beep maintain comic tension and lets Cohen keep the sham going.

Graham Slams Roe: Founding Fathers Didn't Talk Abortion
https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/polit...ion/ar-BBMY0vd

Seriously? He didn't see this backfiring???

Quote:
The comments were quickly met with backlash on social media, as people questioned his logic by saying that the founding fathers didn’t discuss a lot of things in the Constitution, like the Internet, technology, women’s suffrage or the freeing of slaves.
They also didn't discuss heart surgery, electric light and firearms that could hold more than one round at a time.

Graham may have been operating on the New Normal knowledge that a politician can say virtually any ridiculous thing, and expect to see it applauded and celebrated by about a third of the US population.

So, that means they didn't believe life begins at conception? It's not like abortion wasn't a thing through out human history. If they thought it was important, surely they would have mentioned it.

Brett Kavanagh said he grew up in "in a city plagued by gun violence and gang violence and drug violence". He grew up in Bethesda, Maryland, which, in 2014, was the wealthiest town in the country. He attended Georgetown Prep High School, which has its own on-campus golf course.

Interesting. I wonder if people who've known Kavanaugh for years would testify that he's always been prone to bending the truth to enhance his image, or if this is a new thing. (I guess it would endear him to Trump...)

I doubt that the Trump base is particularly fond of Senator Graham. They suspect that, late at night, he enjoys dressing up in ladies’ clothing and regarding himself in the tall mirror.

I am trying to picture Ted Cruz wolfing down a bucket of popcorn just before a debate, and am failing. It just seems too wholesome. A bucket of baby white mice, I can see.

Kavanaugh also attended Yale College as an undergraduate, several years behind me. I wish I had still been there when he matriculated, to pull his freshman beanie down over his eyes, give him wedgies and Indian burns, and deny him entry to Skull and Bones.

I think you're right, but he may still cherish ambitions of being raised to High Office (should a vacancy occur in, say the Department of Justice) by Trump, despite his (Graham's) image. They say that if you flatter Trump solicitously enough and say things that advance his current projects, Trump will respond positively to that groveling.

(And after all, he has to appoint someone to the job, and Senators usually have a better chance of getting the votes in the Senate.)

Senator Graham has been groveling mightily recently, but there are still all those 2015-16 tapes of him calling Trump “unhinged,” “goofy,” and “unfit for office.” Trump holds grudges forever, so Graham will eventually experience a Romney-sized awakening.

True enough. Trump has elevated people who aren't very servile to him, but I think it's true that none of them had publicly criticized him before they got those jobs.

Faux News opinion piece wants to make clear to Faux's mindless, thoughtless viewers what they should think about President Obama's speech yesterday. That the snowflake voters themselves were being demonized. Fucking idiots.
"Former President Obama gave the nation some insights into the Democratic Party’s midterm election strategy Friday with a political speech demonizing Americans who elected Donald Trump as president and doubling down on the failed liberal ideology that devastated our economy."
As for the random economy comment there- Bush was president then you fuvking ignoramous dipshits.

After eight years of lying about Obama’s accomplishments and smearing him generally, I can see where Fox News and Republicans could get right back into the swing of it.

Just in case people don't click on your link or read it far enough, here is what I thought was the best quote:

Quote:
"While Brett Kavanaugh says 'I grew up in a city plagued by gun violence and gang violence,' I remember Bethesda, Maryland more as being plagued by enormous amounts of soccer practice," Schwartz joked.

Oh, great. So, do we hope the Tidewater is spared, out of simple compassion and human decency, or that it gets devastated, lest this vicious old man gains any further credence? Lose-lose.

Win-win for Dear Reverend Father. Either he becomes a hero to the Northeastern part of the Confederacy, or he says "I prayed to the All Powerful Lord, but He, in His Great Wisdom, answered me that he needed to vent His Wrath on the Homosexuals and Democrats."

Authorities Can Now Deny Visa and Green Card Applications Without Giving Applicants a Chance to Fix Errors
Immigration lawyers call the policy change, which kicks in today, another brick in Trump’s “invisible wall” to make legal immigration as difficult as possible.
Quote:
As President Donald Trump wages a vocal battle against illegal immigration, his administration has been working more quietly to cut down on legal pathways to immigrate to the U.S.

On Tuesday, a new policy kicks in, allowing officers with the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services to outright deny any visa or green card application that is missing evidence or contains an error. Around 7 million people apply every year.

Previously, officers were required by an Obama-era policy to send notices, giving applicants a chance to correct such problems instead of closing the process. Officers can still choose to do so, but they can also opt to skip that step if the application is deemed frivolous.

Without the notices, applicants won’t have the opportunity to intervene before a decision is made, potentially adding months or years of extra paperwork and thousands of dollars in fees to the already lengthy process. In the case of those trying to renew their visas while they’re still in the U.S., they could be placed in deportation proceedings the moment their visas expire.....
Right.

NRA is not hiding its going further into white supremacy. For some reason, Dana Loesch is butt hurt that Thomas the Tank Engine, of all things, is introducing a Nigerian female train to the show. So she responded by putting up an image of some of the trains were white hoods.

How does any of this have to do with guns?
Of course, they celebrated 9/11 by attacking Colin Kaepernick ...
