Man, I would love to be the network that has an administration official come in for an interview and say live that he's going to ignore a subpoena because it's stupid and what are they going to do, arrest him?.

She pretty much just asked him if he was either drunk or on drugs, or "off his meds." The face he made may as well have been accompanied by, "no, you're on drugs!"

This guy is nuts. He's either going to end up in prison or with a polonium enema.

Yeh, she’s gutting him live on TV. He couldn’t look like a bigger fool. Well, until they actually haul him off to jail.

I’m now totally convinced there’s something in those emails.

Even if he HAD been offered immunity, THIS is not the way to accept that offer. If anything, he's basically taunting Mueller to start squeezing like one of those Dr. Pimplepopper videos...

If nothing else, all of these interviews today seem to counter his argument that he doesn’t have enough time to go through his emails.

"For Sarah Huckabee to start criticizing me — and I know you may not like the way I say it — she should shut her fat mouth," he told CNN's Erin Burnett.

This will end well.

Trump's blood pressure must be through the roof and rising with every minute this guy spends on television, saying there was collusion with the Russians.

His twitterhia is going to be epic.

Mueller should postpone Nunberg’s subpoena and facilitate booking him on TV shoes.

Ooooh. Erin whatshername just flat out said she could smell alcohol on his breath and he responded by mentioning his anti-depressant meds.

What the living fuck am I watching? Who wrote this ridiculous movie?

Erin Burnett just said she smells alcohol on his breath and asked about it. He denied being drunk but said he’s on anti-depressants.

It’s on the front pages of the Fox & Breitbart websites, just above the latest Benghazi/email server articles.

Comments are running to “Killary LOST, GET OVER IT.”

After watching a few minutes of his interview by Burnett, I turned it off, because I don't know if they make guests walk through a metal detector. The guy seems like he might want to go out with a bang.

Ooof with the alcohol question. Then she asked "or anything else...?" He really looked like he was lying. And I know it's unfair to not give him the benefit of the doubt, but he really hung himself all over the news today. I kinda feel bad for him.

Ouch.

I actually avoid speaking and spelling his name too. I only pointed out thelmalou's* idiosyncracy because it contrasted nicely with her pointing out grammatical mistakes, plus it's becoming annoying to me because in English, we capitalize the names of people, and reading lower-case "thump" garden-paths my brain into thinking I'm reading about an inanimate object until too late to avoid very minor confusion.

Hope someone posts and edited version. It's kind of an unwatchable train wreck now that some of the low lights have been spelled out in this thread. It's painful to watch someone self-destruct.

On the Foxnews website, the lead story with Nunberg is just that he is defiant against Mueller. Not that he looks like a lunatic or has confirmed collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.

I think Nunberg is in a freak out tent right now being calmed down until the nightly newscasts start, when he can resume his televised whatchamacallit.

A later statement to CNN’s Jake Tapper may also raise eyebrows. Nunberg told Tapper that the president had been aware of a June 2016 meeting at Trump Tower, set up by Donald Trump Jr., on the premise that Kremlin intermediaries would provide them with derogatory information on Hillary Clinton.

“He talked about it the week before. And I don't know why he did this. All he had to say was, yeah, we met with the Russians. The Russians offered us something and we thought they had something and that was it. I don't know why he went around trying to hide."
https://www.theatlantic.com/politics...-doing/554906/

So, Nunberg confirmed -- to the extent that a crazy person can really confirm anything -- that Trump Sr. knew about the infamous Trump Tower meeting and tried to hide it. Nice. I think lawyers have a term for when someone under investigation hides what they know.

The 42 Craziest quotes from many CNN interviews by Sam Nunberg.

39. "I think that Carter Page is a weird dude."

Y'know, the real upside of this is that the time he's spending in interviews is time he's not spending going through all of his e-mails and deleting him. How much do you want to bet that there's a warrant for his arrest being filled out right this moment, and another one to go into his office and look through his computer?

And I'd really love to be the network that has an administration official in a live interview when the FBI comes into the studio and arrests him on the air.

Not one of the list is (paraphrased) "What would you say if it was a Democrat being investigated, would you still say I should cooperate?"

"Yes, I would"

"Oh, you would? OK. then. "

I checked out Hannity to see if he was still just continuing his nightly dossier/FISA ranting and he was talking to Carter Page about it. He showed the clip of Erin Burnett asking Nunberg if he was drunk. They both agreed that Nunberg was a peripheral nobody who is drunkenly spewing lies everywhere and Carter Page is an awesome patriot.

See, though, that's a Jewish funerary tradition, so you're kind of symbolizing death with that. What's worse, Trump or Death?

Wait. Don't answer that.
