Another year and no new dollars

Today is my 80th birthday and I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up. I think I'll just spend the few years I have left being in awe of Rhiannon Giddens and her marvelous talent. I've also become very fond of Rockmilady and her ability with a guitar as well as The Electric String Quartet.

For the rest, I think I must have learned something in 80 years but I don't know what it was.

I do know that I despise our current president; the most despicable occupant of the Oval Office this country has ever had, bar none.

Good luck to all of you.

Happy Birthday!

I really admire Rhiannon Giddens. Iíve seen her live twice.

Happy birthday, LouisB! I'm glad you're still around.

I do worry about that virus since I'm now in the age group most at risk. I stay in my condo with the doors closed and locked but I do have to visit the grocery store from time to time. Publix has set aside two mornings a week for us old folk but we have to get there an hour early and then stand in line until they open up and for guys like me, that's more of a problem than it ought to be---standing in line with a walker causes a lot of physical pain; I tend to ignore the early hour and just go when I can. Being old and crippled just ain't no fun.
