Songs about singing songs

In the other thread people were writing them. So who is singing about singing them?

ABBA's Gonna Sing You My Love Song

This the song that never ends
It just goes on and on, my friends
Some people started singing it
Not knowing what it was
And they'll continue singing it forever
Just because
This is the song that never ends...

Somebody Done Somebody Wrong Song
And that Billy Joel classic Piano Man sort of falls into this category.

I think some of the songs mentioned in that thread fit better in this one; and maybe vice versa. And sometimes it's not clear.

Is John Wesley Harding's "Sing Your Own Song" more about writing or singing?

You realize they labeled most of those links with artist and song title? Go read their posts again; read every line.

How about if, after talk of how itís An Old-Fashioned Love Song they wrote for you and me, thereís then a discussion of whether itís also An Old-Fashioned Love Song coming down in three-part harmony?

Read every line including the title of the post. It's in bold, right before the first line of the main post. For instance, if you look at the title of my post you will see:

Well, that explains it. I'm using the mobile version and there certainly are no thread titles posted for me. (Apart from the main title, of course.)

ETA: If I switch themes, I see the title. In the theme I'm using the titles do not appear. I had no idea.
