Well, it's also got AM/FM radio and an alarm clock.

But, yeah, it's apparently not designed to be incorporated into a larger home entertainment system, and it integrates only with other Bose components (or Bose-capable components, which looks like it's pretty much the same thing). 4

My old man has one of these - it has an AUX input port on the back. If you have male-to-male audio cable, you can play an mp3 player through it or use it as a computer sound system.
