9. Shoe-fitting fluoroscopes

My Dad used to tell us stories about these. Kids would routinely be left to play with it while adults talked and shopped for shoes.

Basically, it was baby food marketed to adults. It failed because - in what should have been obvious to Gerbers - adults don't want to eat pureed meals.
