swampy was saying he didn't feel well yesterday - I'm hoping he's just crashed in his sick bed.

Ripple caught another mouse, although to be fair the cat got it first. However, the cat likes to let them go to play with them. Ripple jumped in, got it, and killed it. I like that he kills quickly instead of torturing them.

and oykw is a nurse. How convenient. Get well soonest Swampy.

On another note when I win the lottery and design my custom built retirement home it shall have a small laundromat. At least three high capacity washers and dryers. Hubs sometimes changes clothes three time a day due to the weather or getting very dirty. We have a king size bed with its big linens and blankets that must be washed often due to pets. Sometimes hubs sleeps in the guest room due to my late nights or my snoring he claims. I don’t think I snore. So two beds worth of sheets and blankets most weeks.
And towels and my clothing and laundry is a never ending chore. Hate it.

I am running on fumes. It’s too late to nap and I foresee a very early bedtime with sleep pills on board. Sleep is an elusive commodity for me here lately.

sari I say everyday “Why has every thing got to be so hard”. Every single day.

Feel better soonest swampy!

Supper is prepared and et (poke chops with fried apples and onions, garlic roasted carrots and spinach/ mushroom quinoa). Halfway through, my kitchen drain backed up, so a call to apartment maintainence had to be made. They won't get here until tomorrow when I'm at work.

Nelson and I went to the dog park. Lo and behold, there were more dogs on the small dog side than the big, so's he got to run with a couple of dachounds he likes to play with, a couple of schnouzers and a cockapoo. I now have a tahred pupper.

CIA done turned the mind rays up to 11 in my corner of retail. But now I got material for tomorrow's MMP. And I got 4 kinds of whiskey.
I found out the name of the wiener dog next door that is Gordie's nemisis. "Buddy" I'm still calling him Melvin, though. The only Buddy I know is a biker(He married my friend Clare. Remember Clare, Ruble?)

Feel better, swampy!

Evening all. Soccer has been coached successfully and dinner consumed hungrily.

Feel better, swampy.

Red, glad Nelson has a good time.

Butters, I'd sing you a lullaby, but that may traumatize you into being unable to sleep at all....

Sari, you should change Ripple's name to "The Executioner".

OK, got a late start on my Sunday Sudoku's. so all y'all take care and I'll catch you on Moanday.

Lumpy, no offense, but I'm glad you're miles away. Feel better and don't share the germs!!

And that wraps up another weekend. To sleep, then back to work...

swampie must really be ill if he hasn't posted once today. I'm glad OYKW is a nurse, I hadn't heard that before, it makes me feel easier. I have a lot of respect for nurses, there's been a lot of them in my family.

Since swampie is an Episcopalian, and a fairly devout one, here are two prayers from the Book of Common Prayer. The first is "For a sick person" and the second is "For those we Love"

O God of heavenly powers, by the might of your command you drive away from out bodies all sickness and infirmity; Be present in your goodness with your servant swampbear, that his weakness may be banished and his strength restored; and that, his health being renewed, he may bless your holy Name; through Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen

I'll have to edit to get that second prayer in.

Timed out darn it.

Almighty God, we entrust all who are dear to us to your never-failing care and love, for this life and the life to come; knowing that your are doing for them better things than we can desire or pray for; through Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
