One that I currently love is the Amazon commercial with the young family with the baby and a golden retriever dog. The dog wants to be friends with the baby, but the baby is scared of the dog and cries whenever the dog comes near. The expression on the dog's face is heart-wrenching. The baby's favorite toy is a stuffed lion. The dad makes an amazon order of a lion ruff dog costume, and everyone is happy at the end, most especially the dog. Very sweet commercial.

If I can find a link of just the commercial, I'll post it. The links I'm finding include other things.

Oh yes! Every time I see that one, at the moment where the dog's happy welcome face turns to dismay, a noise comes out of me. Because I am trying to laugh and say "AWWWW!" at the same time. What a sweet doggie.

The latter two are good but that first one is just plain dumb.

It's the (paraphrasing) "Yo! T!"/"Lemonade, man! Read the sign!" that really brings the funny.

Quilted Northern t.p. have two winsome ones: 1) a Frog t.p. holder in a bathroom is speaking in an undertone" "I can't close my eyes. I can't look away" and 2) beautiful bird wallpaper, and the narrator talks about the birds "except for this one. He has an outlet for a face." (because it's right. over. the bird's head)

The Eco warrior commercial (for Kia) is hilarious. I would never switch channels while it's on.

(ducks for cover)

The St. Jude commercial with Chesley Sullenberger. It isn't sappy the way other similar commercials are, and I also know that he's endorsing a legitimate organization. I support them myself; before I knew them, my Girl Scout leaders had a child with cancer, and they took her to St. Jude's. Even though she couldn't beat it , they did have 6 extra years with her, and she enjoyed a normal life for most of that time.

The GEICO bumper sticker commercial. Watch closely at the end, you can see the skunk releasing his gas.

I'm currently fascinated with the Haribo commercial for gummi bears, with a bunch of corporate suits sitting around a conference table talking in little-kid voices about eating gummi bears. The commercial is nothing special and most would find it annoying, but I just can't stop looking at these people's TEETH. There are white people, black people, Asian people, men and women and one I can't tell, and every one of them has the most incredible set of choppers I've ever seen. These people do not eat candy.

Southwest - Male Catch of the Party Who Makes a Big Mistake

Most of the "Wanna getaway?" commercials have been pretty good.

One that I just hear for the first time yesterday is for Lipton Ice Tea. The commercial itself is pretty standard fare but the kicker is the background music of Nathaniel Rateliff's SOB. A song about an alcoholic going through DT's and begging for a drink.

Lipton version https://youtu.be/Is4Wpwp3nwU

Actual song: https://youtu.be/1iAYhQsQhSY

Yep, we liked it too.

Another one I don't mind: The guy crossing the street when a car stops very suddenly at the intersection to avoid hitting him. The guy flings up his arms and goes to have a word with the driver. Two old geezers off to the side, anticipating a fight: "This is going to be good!" The pedestrian is jabbing his finger at the driver and acting very aggressive, but actually conversing with the driver about what a swell car it is.

One that cropped up in the other thread as "bad", I think is great: the VW love bug commercial, with Dean Martin singing "The Birds and the Bees".

The new Dr Pepper commercials are rather amusing.

Memo to DirecTV: that is how you have an advertising campaign featuring an asshole. Make the asshole(s) likeable!

The vast majority of humorous commercials leave me high and dry. Quite a few Geico ads at least give me a chuckle or two. But, this one gets a sincere laugh from me every time; it's comedy gold and near perfection.

As long as we're reviving older commercials:Mistaken Identity.

And when you think about the backstory that led to this, it's rather disturbing.

Have any of you seen the Panda Cheese commercials (from Egypt)? They're a bit of an internet hit.

There's 2 here. The second one was a follow up to the first, and was probably a bit funnier and more terrifying.

Pretty much all of the Charles Barkley/Spike Lee/Samuel L Jackson commercials for Capital One. My wife and I pretty much lost it during the turtle rat commercial last night.
