Voters' Pamphlet Oddities

So I'm looking through my Oregon Primary pamphlet, both to compare legitimate candidates to choose from, and to spot those candidates and measures that are a little...off.
For instance, there is someone(name withheld by me) running for State Representative who, instead of talking about his background, qualifications and positions on specific issues, broke out into song:

Just clean up the carbon soon
Cause in 12 years impending doom
Get all pollution out of sight
Plastic bag ban starts Friday night
Yakety Yak (Dems smoke crack)

Don't you feed me no gendered hooks
There's only two you half-baked crooks
Tell your trans-gendered friend outside
It's time to go for a naked bike ride
Yakety Yak (don't talk back)

Men don't get no menstrual bleed
Only testes make that baby's seed
If you can't get straight mentally
Maybe you should get a lobotomy
Yakety Yak (Don't smoke crack)

There were more verses, but I'm sure you get the idea.
So, are there any oddities in your voters' pamphlet?

The Oregon voter's pamphlet often rewards a close reading.

There was also another one running for Portland City Commissioner who didn't have a full grasp on what his duties might be if he won:
Quote:
I heard a songbird singing. I heard a woodpecker knocking.
May this always be so.
SAVE THE BEES
GROW THE WILDFLOWERS
My vision is to Restore Wildflowers, Restore meadows, Restore falling bee populations.
The babbling continues on for another paragraph or so.

And all this time I've been taking one to be polite and throwing it into the nearest trash bin to avoid littering. Oh the literary gems I've missed.

I don't know if his positions were published in voters' guides but a planning commissioner in the small city of Cotati California, home of the Cotati Accordion Festival ("Accordions don't play Lady of Spain - people do!") regularly attended meetings with a paper grocery bag over his head. Politics as performance art?

The OP example is just more transphobic hate speech and neither cute nor clever.

I'm always on the lookout for irreverent entries in the Oregon Voters' Pamphlet. When I used to live in Jackson county, there was a person running for some position with the city of Ashland who claimed that he would eliminate money and switch everything to a bartering system.

I also seem to recall a period where a person named Bill Sizemore was constantly getting unpopular measures put on the ballot, and the pamphlet was beginning to fill with statements (anyone can pay to have a statement regarding a measure put in the pamphlet) that were basically just people complaining about Bill Sizemore. I thought it was amusing, anyway.

This version has these remarks from Republican candidate for US senator Robert Schwartz:

Quote:
We deserve explanations but between using arbitrary pronouns and not knowing what "food" means [Democrats] are obviously struggling with words. (bolding original)
His current occupation is "fitness" and his educational background states that he learned all he needs to know from his mom.

I did not use the words "cute' or "clever"-I said it was odd.
